Is it necessary or recommended to drop the transfer case if using a 2" budget boost? If so can you recommend a kit? Thanks.

I've heard of a cut and fold technique to trim the wheel wells. Can anyone help out with how to do it?

XJUSMC I have the RE 3.5" kit with full leaf packs. I got 4.5"-5'' from it. A little more expensive but I'm very happy with it. I added a 1" front spacer to level it. Front was about 1" lower after I installed the kit. Still level now.No settling after 8 months. 33x10.50x15 BFG KM2s fit fine. Rubicon Express is closed if you check there website. Don't know for how long.

hey i just ordered shocks for me 2001 xj sport ... when i bought it i was told it has a 6 inch lift ... but i ordered shocks for a 6-8 inch lift and the shocks where way to short .. so i took measurments around the vehicle to see if you guys could help me figure out my lift size .. the measurments where taken right behind each wheel from the bottom of the vehicle to the ground .. these are the measurments ...

right front tire - 23.5

right back tire - 23

left back tire - 22

left front tire - 23

and also the tire size is 31 - 10.5

thank you very much everyone

On that note I ran downstairs to the garage to measure and I'm at 24" from center of hub to stock fender edge without flairs. I know stock is supposed to be around 17 so I'm guessing I have about 5-5.5" of lift right?

I am far from and expert, but I have a 3 inch lift and still get some rub with 30's, so I am going to say if would probably be a problem. My body is not trimmed at all.

Default 10.5" vs 12.5" tires

Quick question....
What is the pros and cons of having a 12.5" width tires.
I see a lot of members running 10.5" instead of 12.5".....

I'm gonna be running 33" on 15x8" rims with a 5.5" lift, is that matters.

Thx.

Would I get any substantial lift if I do a bastard pack with stock '92 Wrangler leafs on my XJ? I want to match my 3.5" coils I have lying in wait

just harder to fit. And more weight to push if your not geared properly. Im running 33x12.5 now. Going to 35x12.5 on stock gears until i get some money
