Decent tires! Nice for a dd that goes offroad frequently, too. Average wear life. I had hankook mt's but i run the ATM's now and they perform well when aired down. I have over 25k miles on them and I offroad every weekend during the winter/spring, still at 70% tread i would guess. Had the mt's on an f250 and got 50k out of them before my bad alignment got the best of them

Lol those did me until I got 2 more this morning. All the other tires have half tread on them. Iv gone over a few speed bumps just gotta go easy over them so I dont hit the pinch seam up front. Doesnt hit the lca added washers to the steering stops. So far Im happy with it.

Default Don't know what I am looking for

I am sure something similar was asked in here but with 3000 results showing up in search I figured this would be faster. A friend of mine is going to sell me his 6 inch lift kit (3 inch lift with 3 inch spacers) for 50-100 if I help him switch his new kit in....But he is keeping the shocks. I have been searching around but am apparently too uneducated on the topic to get by. When buying shocks am I buying different parts for front and rear? or is at all the same? Also when I am finding shocks that seem to fit what I need are they in pairs or am I buying all 4. Yes the ones in the jeep are shot the entire jeep sags about 3 inches and sits almost on the bump stops in the rear. Any suggestions or advice on this would be greatly appreciated

Also just for the sake of pricing if I did have said 3 inch lift (I wouldn't be going for the full 6) what would the measurement range be for tires that would fit, ideally not trimming anything just yet. Just a DD tire using the stock aluminum wheels 5 spoke I think?

While I am at it add a leaf kits vs leaf pack kit.... as I said before my '99 has lots of rear end sag if I end up buying a kit would it be more worth it to just save up longer and get the leaf pack kit or could I scrape by with an add a leaf and replace my leaf packs at a later point?

Just save for leaf packs. No sense I'm doing it twice.

Is there an online website with pricing for Old Man Emu springs for an XJ other than Rocky Road? I'd just like to know if there are some other places to buy OME stuff, with pricing....

DPG does not have prices but I would suggest just calling and talking to Dirk. There was and maybe still is a sticky on Jeep Forum on how bad RRO customer service is.

Since mine will see more street I think I might do the ATM's...but the MT's looks awesome, I just can't justify them on ride that see's more pavement than dirt.

I got 3.75" BS with 31x10.50s on my 91 I don't even think I'd notice an extra half inch. It looked good too.

Ok so I'm new to the XJ world and I'm wanting for shock travel. I have a 4.5-5" of lift.. What would be a good set of shocks to get the best travel?
Thanks guys
