Very very good. I like their nitro shocks. Make sure to extend bumpstops a lil and try not to bottom. The shocks out. Shouldn't be an issue with the full leafbut you never know

Man, my 4.5" lift gained from my RE springs really makes me want to just dive in headfirst to bigger front coils, and start blowing money. Too bad I still need to get a track bar.

What makes the '99 different? in '00 they went to the low pinion front axle so I thought 99' would be the same as the older years. I have a '99 and I'm about to do a 3.5 and drop the transfer case

Not worried as much about the front due to double cardan joint. More worried about the rear so low pinion vs high isn't that big of an issue. And it's not just the fact it's a 99 it's more of an issue for 97+ models.

Get an SYE the first time and do it right.

'96+ models are more prone to drive line vibrations from lift.

Everything is currently stock on my XJ. So I would be referring to the stock tb to relocation bracket. I saw them online for ~$30, very much in my budget compared to ~$200 for an adj TB. Is this not a proper assumption or temp fix? I'm also going to need to find some extended sway bar discos. Why do this "full" kits leave out some important and expensive parts, especially needed for safety?!

Ok, so Im picking up my first XJ this weekend. 1996 Sport. Im looking to get the Rusty's 4.5 full spring kit, IRO Hack'n Tap and OTK steering, 15x8 4" BS and either 32x11.50 or 33x12.50 Kumho KL71s. Have I missed anything? If I went with the 33x12.50s would the Rusty's cut out flares give enough room? Not my first lifted truck, ive had multiple full size trucks but my first XJ project.

Already have a 3" suspension BDS lift with SYE kit installed, brand new leafs.

Looking to go up another 1.5", could i just use the coil over spacers? or do i need to do more to my driveshaft.

Default Tire hunting

I am doing a 3" lift hopefully sometime shorty after christmas. I am about to start hunting for tires they will be going on the 5 spoke aluminum jeep rims (not sure of the specs). I honestly don't know much about tires beyond all weathers. I am planning on hunting craigslist etc, my question is Are there any particular tires/brands to avoid or to jump on? any other general tips...as far as what I have heard I am looking for 31x10.5 s
