You can get a thing that attaches to your hi lift so you can use it to lift a wheel up. Hi lifts can also be used as a come along, and a clamp.

Id love to see a rig recovered using only bottle jacks. That would make my day

Ive used my hi lift for all those things and even used it to split logs in half so I could carry them easier

Use strap to keep suspension from flexing, then jack it up.

I just bought my second cherokee its an '01. Trying to figure out which way to go but would like some input from you guys first. I am honestly going to b wheeling it on the highway and light offroading. If things workout get out to my local offroad park once a year. My concerns are first of all its got to look bad @$$, then its got to b able to b a daily driver, then capability, and last affordable? I'm thinking of the RC 4.5" (because of my budget) with 31x10.50x15. One of my questions is if a long arm has any benifits besides better flex because its twice as much. And any feed back on helping the ride quality would b welcome however im fully aware this is not a cadillac. I do want a full on mud tire not an A/Tand think I wanna go with the km2.

KM2's are a good tire.

RC and ride quality are in opposite categories. Get a 3.5" RE kit with Bilstein shocks and run 31's. You don't need 4.5" to run 31's, nor will it look badass.

Check out your "E" button. It seems to be working intermediately.

You had to throw affordable and daily driver in there didn't you?

Rough country is not going to give you what you want. Long arms will ride better than short arms on lifts above 4". Also mud terrains are not road friendly.

3" lift on 31's, black steelies with 3.75 backspacing, cut fenders. Get a quality kit with leaf Springs and control arms. Then get some decent non white body shocks and you'll be set

The "e" button not working is due to my kids using my tablet and getting the screen cruddy. I read a thread on here that was from 2011, a guy did a 4.5 RC lift and put 32" km2s and he scrubbed when off roading.

I've got a 3" on 31s and I vary rarely scrub. It will occasionally rub at full flex but not enough to do any damage. You can always set up bump stops to keep the tire from hitting when tucked. 31s on 4.5" will look small.
Here's mine at close to max flex. The tire is almost touching but not quite there yet.

Use bumpstops to limit your up travel.
