Iirc I bout my drop brackets for around 200ish. Ill find the link and post them up for yall but I love them. Havent had any issues with them so far.

The brackets= $250 (adjusting for Canada inflation), and IRO adjustable control arms $500, serious off-road long arms, $750. For me, the less ground clearance of the drop brackets isn't a big deal. My main concern is which kit will handle the best on the street with the 4.5" lift (I know there are many other factors affecting street handling/ride quality, but everything contributes)

Those do look like sturdy brackets for sure. You're happy with them? How is the adjustment mechanism?

New shocks, brake lines, control arms, coils, steering, and trackbar. You'll want to go with longarms at that height, and you'll want to ditch the factory steering setup and run some other style.

Check serious offroad. He's a vendor on here, he'll set you up.
Just want to go that high Idk exactly why but yea I already figured I would need new everything was just wondering if they sold a kit for just the front I already have a track bar n was Goin to convert the steering setup to the crossover steering with heim joints instead of the ball joint type ends

I was also just thinking of trying to make my own parts just don't know Wat the measurements for everything needs to be

So you run the Clayton LA kit then? How is it on the street compared to stock?

Dot need a belly skid on the road

I love my set up. Rides great and the Johnny joints are massive.

Here is my skid I built, fwiw

Will by reading your responses I know believe you are rich. If i didnt have rough country my jeep would be nowhere haha. But nice belly skid. I am about to turn my crappy radius arm into a tru 4 link though.

Oh yea and as far as road handling i couldnt tell you, i havent have swaybars in forever. However i know i would never go back to short arms, longarms absorb bumps so well

Question Pitman arm

Probably gonna seem like a dumb question. But I have an Xj cherokee that's lifted. something wasn't quite right while I was driving. My whole axle walked so far to the right that my Tires which are supposed to be spaced with 3". Well the left tire measures 5" out from the fender. While the right tire is at 8.5". This visual and driving Totally means something is wrong. So anyhow during the inspection and while i was greasing it was stng me badly. Then i look up and im pretty sure I have a major problem. On the left Mt coil spring is tight against the wheel well. As for the other side the spring is bowed out the otherway.

Maybe I should've specified a bit, its not a pavement princess, and I'm sure I'll make use of the belly skid, its just that being a daily driver I've got to keep the priorities realistic. Having a kit that has insane flex but is iffy on the highway isn't going to cut it for me.
That does look like a nice skid you made, I read about it in the fab section I think, I'm sure I could pull something off in that department if needed, just need a bit of experience with a welder first.
