Thanks. It is aftermarket. What are you saying? Don't use the stabilizer at all?
RE 4.5" sort arm lift with Serious 1-ton steering. I have the clamp thingy and it just seems awkward no matter how I place it. Plus I've seen where the clamp hits the oil pan slightly if it's towards the top. And I'd like to adjust my steering wheel more freely. I know to just adjust it and then put the clamp on but my OCD makes crazy if it's a tiny bit off so I'm doing it pretty often.

I haven't had any death wobble problems so far. Since it exploded on the last outing and I was going to buy a new one I'll just leave it off and see how it goes. Thanks.

I dont have on on my Jeep. Factory steering 5.5" lift on short arms. 35s havent affected the steering much at all. Still turns as it did stock. Wonder if my steering had been upgraded before.

When I bought my jeep, it came with a 3" lift. Is there any way to identify the make or are they all pretty much the same? I just want to know what I'm working with. (if it matters) Also, how many leafs are in a stock pack. No coil spacers.

Hi everybody. I have a really lame "lift and tire" question. I kind of doubt anyone who actually reads this will be able to give me an answer, but I'm going to throw this out there just in case.
Anyway, I've got a 2000 limited, that was sagging in the back, so I just put on brand new Crown rear leaves, and while I was at it, I threw on a Rubicon Express 2.5" add-a-leaf in back with a 2.5" spacer up front.
Naturally, taking that first taste has me wanting just a little bit more. So, I got myself some Rough Country extended shackles for the back. Supposedly that'll put me at 3.5" in the back. So, now I'm thinking about picking up some RE 3.5" springs for the front. Wondering if the consensus would be that I would come out level by doing that. My rear leaves are brand new, so I hate to ditch them so soon. Sure, I could try to sell them, but I'm lazy enough to try to avoid that if I can.
Beyond that question, so, assuming I get to about 3.5" in both the front and the back, I'm HOPING I can get away with 33"s. I'm willing to trim fenders a little and bumpstop to keep it all from self destructing, but I think going with 3.5" and 33's and calling it "low center of gravity" will be all I need. (For now.)
Basically, will any random strangers from the internet give me the green light to go with this plan? I'm really just looking for blind support here, not actual critical thought and analysis.

I'm kind of making this up as I go, and I'm new at this, so at this point I know just enough about jeeps to really make myself dangerous. Any advice out there will be greatly appreciated.

Teephphaph, yeah you'll be fine, maybe a little high in the front, I hear RE starts a little higher than advertised.
What wheels are you planning on running? You'll probably want some with about 3-4" of backspacing.

Looking for a little help, I'm running 4.5 inches of lift and have noticed that the rear is just about .45 lower than the front. At first it didn't bother me at all but now its starting to drive me nuts because it always look like their is a fat kid sleeping in the back or something. Any suggestions on what to do?
