I had 33s on 3 inchs a while ago. trim and bumpstop it right and you'll be fine. I rubbed at full flex. Its up to you how tall you want it to be and how much u want to spend

I'd do SYE, rear CV driveshaft and adjustable lower control arms along with an alignment and longer brake lines.

For the Front you can use early 90s Chevy 1/2 ton brake lines. They bolt right up and are a full ~6" longer than stock ifnot more.

Part Numbers:
Advanced/Dorman

H38620 driver's side(Labeled "L" or "Left")
H38621 Passenger side(Labeled "R" or "Right")

Rear

H38636 off of a 1996 Dodge Dakota 4x4

Again, bolts up and quite a bit longer than stock.

Total all 3 will run you around $70 brand new.

Refer to my reply for better/cheaper options that are easier to find.

Use c-clamps to clamp the packs together securely. Remove the center pin and spring clamps. Slowly loosen the c-clamps. Install add-a-leaf in the pack. Install new spring clamps and center pin. Bam!

Default control arms, drop bracket

ok so im planning on lifting my 89 xj 4 to 5 inches my question is do i need upper and lower control arms or just lowers, and if i need both why is there so many stores that feature just lower arms? and what about the control arm drop bracket, is this kind of the cheap, **** poor way of extending them, or are they decent.

thank you in advance

trhis is the website im thinking on going through... any opinions?

Anyone contemplating liftin their rig, look at rough country! Just threw a RC series ll 3" lift w/ aal on my '91 XJ that i purchased through Grimus on the vendor pages here at CF. Awesome deal!!! Everything to my front door for under $350 including stabilizer, upgrade shocks, shock boots, and some stickers for Ol' Blue to boot! Install was a breeze (me and a buddy, no broken oem bolts, all by hand, no air tools = 8 hrs). Customer service was extremely impressive and the deal just couldn't be beat!!! Thx Jason!!! I wil mos def be doing bidness with you again!!! I will post pic within a few days.
