3" zone lift with new leaf pack, got a real bad vibe driving so I installed tcase drop ... Looking to get a hack n tap from iron rock question is , have any of you ran a 3" lift with the front driveshaft after hack n tap install ??? From what I'm told the front shaft will work only on 4" and up...
Thanks in advance

The hackNtap installs 'as is' with 1.5" of spline remaining on TC. That can be trimmed down another 1/4" and that 1/4 would be gained at the slip yoke.

Good question. I have the same setup (242,AW4,8.25) with 5" lift. However I can compress the suspension to the stock bottomout position and not overcompress the slipyoke. The hackNtap installs 'as is' with 1.5" of spline remaining on TC. That can be trimmed down another 1/4" and that 1/4 would be gained at the slip yoke.

That 1/4" should be all you need. I also took 1/4" off the yoke and output shaft.
Look close at the previous picture and you can see how much the slipjoint travels. Not much.

The suspension was fully compressed without an issue, therefore lift height of 3" should be OK. And I tested past that point all that way to stock bottomout position. That 1/4" should be all you need. I also took 1/4" off the yoke and output shaft. Look close at the previous picture and you can see how much the slipjoint travels. Not much.

2000, I got the RE 3.5" super ride with monotube shocks and full leafs, 1" tc drop, RE adjustable track bar, and prolly gunna shim the axle a few degrees soon. I love the lift. It rides super smooth! This is my daily driver and it rides better than my stock suspension (although Idk how old the stock suspension was).

Dirt diver. I am ordering my RE lift tomorrow. I love the way your Jeep looks! I need some help with the shocks. I am looking at the monotubes but I am not sure which ones to get for my lift size. Ill send you a message.

I have to get new tires soon. I currently have 33x12.5x15 ProComp Mud terrains. I was looking to get (4) Wrangler Duratracs in the same size (for 640 bucks!). Then I found a sale on BFG KM2 in 33x10.5x15 for 750 (for 4). Is it worth the extra hundred dollars for the BFG's? I will also be sacrificing the 12.5 wide for a 10.5 wide....

Yeah, I'm in CT I was really leaning towards Duratracs anyways. The BFG's were just so cheap I was really tempted. I'll snag those Km2's from you if the price is right
