Are Old Man Emu lift kits worth their coin?
I need a lift that will still perform well on the road, as it is my only daily driver. Most people point to OME, and their reveiws are great, but Is their another brand that sells such a comprehensive kit that does as well on and offroad as the emu?

I'm looking to get new leaf packs and shocks. Thinking about Rubicon Express RE 1463 leafs 3.5" and RE twin tube shocks 3.5-4.5". Anybody out there use this combination?

Just seeing if anyone has bought tires recently off line? Where's the best/cheapest spot? So far looks like my top choices are tirerack.com or discounttire.com. Discount is a little more expensive bc of free lifetime rotations etc...I'm not worried about free rotations. But mount and balance is a plus.
I'm looking to get bfgoodrich A/T or Goodyear Duratracs 31x10.50x15.

DONE.! I soaked the bolts every day for over a week. took a long breaker bar, a jack handle, and some serious ooomph (enough to blow out a hardened socket!, nothing a little McGyver style hotrodding cant fix ie vicegrips+grinder=instant custom socket).
Olive the grocery getter is now 2 inches higher.
thanks all!

Engine: Supercharged 440 Magnum punched .60 - yeah right.. 4.0 like everyone else.
anyone running a Zone Offroad 3" lift? I'm considering that one, plus adding in Iron Rock LCA's, double sheer track bar kit and QD's While I'm deciding, I've been working on replacing everything on the entire front end so it will all be new and tight. The plan is 31's and a rear swap to an 8.25c.
My other choice was the RE 3.5". Thanks in advance.

Looking into the Rubicon Express 3.5" Super-Ride lift as my first lift. I have a couple of newbie questions though. I saw to kit listed on SummitRacing (link below) and I noticed one major difference between this and a comparable RoughCountry kit: The RE doesn't come with new front shocks... Are those something I should replace while I already have the springs out, or will the stock ones be fine? If so, what shocks do you guys recommend?
One more question: Will I need to do anything to my brake lines? (Dana 30 & Chrysler 8.25 on a '97 country)

Yes you will need new shocks on all four corners.
No you will not need new brake lines. The instructions tell you to straighten the hardlines and re-secure the retainer.
Checkout the vendor forum here.

It comes with new rear leaf packs and front springs, but will I need new front shock absorbers? Not a huge expense, I just don't want to have to take my springs off twice...
You do not have to remove springs to install shocks.
