This ^ I didn't rub with 3.5" on 35's when I ran them for 5 months. Once I regear the XJ the 33's will be coming off and it'll be getting 35's again

Right now it is a driveway queen To be absolutely honest it will see more pavement than dirt. Once I have it road worthy it will be my winter daily driver, and in the summer I will be using it as my fishing, towing, and camping vehicle while my Stealth will get most of the regular road miles.

Hmmmmm.... cheap and aluminum... those words don't really go together too well. I mean, you can probably pick up a decent inexpensive set on craigslist for a couple hundred, but you never know if they're bent or not until you get a tire mounted on them and start to balance them.... by then, it's too late to return them.

The American Racing Baja 15x8 is among the least expensive set you're going to find at about 105 a piece... but they'll have the backspacing you're looking for. I used to run them, but I switched to steel because the aluminum like to bend.

The American Racing Outlaws aren't bad either at around 92 for the AR61's (no holes) and about 84 for the AR62s (with holes). But they're still not as good as the Cragar D-Window steelies at about 57 a pop.

Hello!!

My 00 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo needs new tires, they currently have good year tires size is I think 225 75 16 and was wondering what the best tires are? There are two types I see on the tire places one is asking if i want those type the 225 75 16 or 225 70 16. Any help would be appreciated. Also its a 4x4 if that matters.

Hey everyone im looking to be putting a 6.5 on my 97 I already have a 4.5 rc on it at the moment and was wondering what all I needed for a 6.5 besides springs and leafs which I already purchased a set of rc 6.5 leaf pack from a friend

SYE, CV drive shaft, steering etc. Long arms and a gear swap wouldn't hurt either.

When are sway bar discos useful? When do i need sway bar extensions. Basically tell me all i need to know about sway links and if you recommend me getting discos or just regular extensions. Im going 3'' on 33's with light trailing maybe moderate. It wont be a rock crawler or anything extreme. Just to get me over any hill I want.

Disco's are great anytime you hit the trail. Disconnecting your swaybar will allow your axle to articulate the way it needs to keep your tires on the ground.

Like Frank said, discos are always good to have. You'll need extended links or discos at 3" anyway. Put some pressure on Justin to make another batch of Dukie Discos.

At 3" and 33s, you won't have uptravel. You're gonna need to disconnect your swaybar and run proper bumpstops if you plan to drive over anything larger than a curb.
