All Lift & Tire questions go here!!!
Just put on a RC 4.5 lift on my 97 XJ. I want to put new wheels and tires on the jeep and don't know if I should go with 32s or 33. I want about 3.75 BS and 11.5 width. I also dont want to do any fender trimming because the body is in great shape and I want to leave the stock flares on it. Do I have the space for 33? I do want to start offroading a bit, and plenty of daily driving. Thanks,

Truth is anything much larger than a 30 can rub.
It's a jeep.
Keep in mind lift is not much of a determining factor when choosing tire size. The wheel wells a only fit 30's comfortably.
My jeep has 3" lift in the rear. Running 36 x 12.5 tires. Notice my stock fender flare brackets. With proper back spacing a 12.5 can just fit under the outer lip of the flare. Now if I wanted I could bump stop and keep the tire from rubbing (picture). But i want more travel so I will cut an inch of the top of fender away and still retain the stock flares. You won't be able to tell unless you stuck your head in the well and looked.
The front and back bottom edges of the lower fender well have already been trimmed for 36" tires. But the flare covers up what is trimmed.

Soo I just bought the following suspension parts
Zone 3" lift with full leaf spring package
Iron rock off-road adjustable double shear track bar
Iron rock off-road adjustable lower and upper control arms
I want to build some wheels for it.. (Yes I build wheels for a living) I would like to eventually buy bushwacker flares the flat ones... What rim widths are you guys running on a setup like this... And what back spacing I text for a 15x8 today with 4" and it clears everything brakes ect but sticks about 1.5" past the stock flares... Is this necessary so it doesn't rip apart the inner fender ? We specialize in old hot rods and muscle cars so I've never fit anything for off-road duty... I can dial in back spacing in 1/8" increments so that's not an issue here a pic of them test fitting they aren't welded yet after they are they will be off to the powder coater for either black or gunmetal coating since they are raw polished aluminum now... Please lmk what size tires I can daily drive and get away with some off-roading without scraping I'd like to go as big as possible but not re-gear and loose to much drivability braking strength and acceleration thinking 31/32 is the sweet spot please list suggestions.. Also what tires are good for roads with snow and some off-road park action? Thanks for helping the newb this will be my first jeep and part time dd/off-road rig. And as you can see I've bought the necessary suspension components to go to a bigger lift if necessary I think I'm gonna be hooked figured buy the control arms and trackbar right the first time since I doubly I'll ever go over 4.5" of lift they should serve me well
What do you guys think of the style kinda looks jeepish and they cost little $ to make for me

At 32" you'll need 4.11 gears.
Go to www.grimmjeeper.com and use the gear ratio calculator. You can do side by side comparisons.

I just bought a 2" Teraflex BB kit for a 94 cherokee with original shocks, etc.. Can I fit the 31x10.50 R15 Yokohama Geolander winter tires or do I need to stick with 30"? Would 1.5 spacers help?

you'd be surprised how strong they are.... they pass all sfi racing specs and scored in the upper 80% on impact fatigue testing.. why do they look weak to you if you don't mind me asking
also 15x8 4" bs will be the correct size for a 3" with some 31's correct
