No s*** nobody will trade you, must be some truck owners with some common sense around you..
You have the money for all this including "custom long arms" but you can't sell this death trap and buy a truck?

We can't help you because it's impossible. 11" of lift on short arms..... is a death wish. 6 is max.

I wont be using short arms for the 11" of lift. I am getting custom long arms approved for 12" of lift

I saw that. I knew because short arms won't drop that far.

Listen it is going to be tough. Number one is to have a custom track bar and mounts made. Then you will have to go with a different steering box, probably a custom mount also.

You really are opening up a whole can of worms here. And you should talk to someone who has done this extreme of a lift before.

Know anybody who has done something like this? After I buy the long arms and coils I have about $300 left for parts.

First time I'm going to agree with this guy.

But I did miss the long arm part. I facepalmed too soon.

This is gonna take a lot of discussion, and this thread isn't the best place. First we need to know every suspension and steering modification that's already been done. Then we need to know what your new kit includes.

I don't advise this lift without full width axles to increase your lateral stability, but we can try to help keep it as safe as possible if your plans can't be swayed

Honestly no. I will admit that advice for your particular application is beyond my current knowledge. Sorry I can not help you. Maybe someone else can help?

Take it from me you can lift 10 11 even 12 inches of lift but your playing with dynomite. I learned the hard way i had 10" lift soaring 35s. my jeep upgraded everything i could steering bars track bar steering box. And ran factory tie rods till thanksgiving bout 3 years ago and was going hunting that morning when the tie-rod broke not at the bar but at the knuckle sheered it clean
Just think about what the weakest link will be and plain on it breaking that the jeep way

Lol. I like the stock tie rod.

If you hate how small it is than buy a full size truck and lift it.. a xj does not have the track width to safely run a lift of that size. Sounds like you have stock steering on the jeep now so you are already beyond being safe.
"Brodozer" haha

For me driving in deep sand, 4-low also makes all the difference in tranny temperature.
Same here. 2wd will get it hot but in 4 low the temps are much more acceptable.

Also lol.

At that lift height you need some more serious mods than long arms.
