Yes, this is very true. Thanks for adding. Many jeepers don't realize the importance of properly tuning the suspension bolts.

Do it wrong and they curse the lift parts but really it's their fault

honestly i wouldnt be surprised if i did that . im running stock shackles too which is probably not helping.

And if it comes to it you could always find someone in the local section who'd be willing to trade parts

Re is pretty good. A lot of jeepers say rustys coils are good quality. I personally run zone which has a high spring rate. I like em personally. If you already have 3.5" coils then don't do nothing to the front. Just inspect the rear. Coils don't usually give extra lift as do new leafs do.

From a '97 FSM:

U-Bolt Nut . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 70 N·m (52 ft. lbs.)
Front Pivot Bolt . . . . . . . . . 156 N·m (115 ft. lbs.)
Upper Shackle Bolt . . . . . . . 156 N·m (115 ft. lbs.)
Lower Shackle Bolt . . . . . . . . 108 N·m (80 ft. lbs.)

i think my shocks might be too long for the rustys (3.5-4.5 bilstiens) i like rustys spring rates tho 150ish pounds vs 250 for the re ones ( still better than my rcx ones) what about using tj springs are they any softer?

ive never had a broken in set of re coils either tho

For every company I've seen, TJ coils are the same as XJ coils, but they're marketed for a 1" difference in lift due to front-end weights

Does anybody know what a good backspacing would be for 32x11.5" tires? I'm getting the RE 3.5" Super-Ride lift full leafs on my '97, my fenders aren't trimmed, and the wheels I'm looking to get are 15x8 steelies. I just don't know what backspacing to go with to avoid rub with minimal trimming, 3.75, 4.0, 4.5? Thanks

3.5-4" BS is pretty standard for aftermarket wheels. And Serious consistently has one of the best prices on steel wheels

Ive got a 94 xj with a 2" budget boost. (Block in the front shackle in the rear) I installed 31x10.5 pro comp a/t. I dont have any rub issues with no trimming on the fenders but my LCA on the driver side rubs. I also have 1 1/2" spacers. Any cheap fixes or tips besides not turning to the left very hard?

Trim, lots of people say that 31s rub on just 3"s of lift if it's a cheap lift.
