No, I don't lick fish.
I would definitely run lift shackles before AAL or blocks. You can even get the "lowering shackles" for full size trucks from the parts store for 25 bucks and throw them in there... provides lift on cherokees - you will have to grind down the bushings to get them to fit, but they will fit.
Like everyone has said though, it's best to do it right from the beginning. Bastard pack or kit.
Hey - just found these - pro comp leafs for 105 on amazon. Reviews say it gives 3" lift in rear

I did the same and still have them. They finished off my leafs for sure. Maybe with some new leafs and relocation brackets they would be fine.

Currently I'm running a zone AAL with a bastard pack. The AAL with the new pack alone made the leafs soft feeling still. So I made a bastard pack from my old leafs that I still had and it does work. Flex isn't the best, not the worst either. And ride quality is so/so. When these wear it out I'm going RE 3.5" leafs and maybe change out my zone coils for new ones as well

Nah. I had brand new leafs and RB. They were frowning constantly. And if I ever had any weight in the jeep, watch out.
