No, I don't lick fish.
Yeah, nothing wrong with shackles on a bastard pack or a full lift leaf pack... just really sucks on stock leafs - especially if said leafs are worn out. There's a user on here named Dukie564 who did a mix of XJ and Dakota bastard pack and he used - either durango or dakota - shackles which were about 1.5" longer than the factory.... altogether it yielded him about 4.5" of lift.

If people are ok with the extra lift, and also people that want to do 4.5" lifts, this is the way to go then. Get better flex than if you did a 4.5" pack with stock shackles. I like my boomerang shackles and relocators bracket. Makes for a better ride some

My shackle angle is horrible, they sit pretty much straight up and down I am thinking about a shackle relocation kit. I am sitting on a 3" Zone lift and since I don't really want to be cutting and welding it looks like I will gain anywhere from 3/4" to 1.5" of lift in the back. I know I can level out the front with some spacers, but will I need to purchase new shocks to match the new lift height? It looks like the Zone white body front shocks cover from 3-4.5", but they list two different part numbers for a 3" and 4" lift rear shock and the specs are different. 14.67/22.95 for 3" lift and 15.42/25.95 for a 4" lift. If possible, without causing damage, I would like to reuse my existing Zone white bodied shock because I also want to do a SYE in the spring and that takes priority over shocks for now, but I do want to smooth out the suspension in the rear ASAP.
Bilstiens are in the future too, but I want to take care of all the other stuff first.

What 4.5-5" coil springs?
Gents I am looking for some recomendations on 4.5-5" coil springs. I think I am aiming for a spring rate around 200 lbs/ in and would like to start building my xj to do some go fast jeep speed stuff in the future. I have a stock bumper up front but will be moving to a mid weight bumper soon. I would love to get some progresive springs but am looking at DPG trail gunner coils or some curries... Any thoughts words of wisdom?
Current set up is a 3.5-4" DPG OME hybrid lift
