I am going to install the same lift kit in a couple months. Do you just have to flex the **** out of it to make it settle? I would like to keep it around 5" if possible.

I hear the best way is crazy flex and carrying some extra cargo for a while. I was surprised at how much lift I got.
Here is a pic for comparison. I'm just a little over 6'2".

Yeah. They're 255-75-17. They measure a little over 32" tall and 10" wide

That is awesome! And I'm going to run the same tires on this build as well.

I like the looks of that and sometimes wish mine looked that good. Only thing is if it did I would be scared to have fun with it and mess it up

So im looking to regear my hpD30 and 8.25 to 4.56. On some threads I read about re-gearing some people say that the new gears don't fit on the carrier, or something not fitting somewhere. is this something i have to be wary of or am i good to just buy the set and get them put in?

You'll need a new carrier for the D30. They're around $75. I don't think the 8.25 has a carrier break, but I may be wrong there

cool, ill order the kit.
Do you guys think for the extra 5$ i should go 4.88? I want to be able to travel on the highway and the jeep is mostly a DD. Itll be running 33's and have usually and extra 150lbs of stuff in it and someday have a winch and bumpers

For a daily driver, I do not recommend 4.88 on 33"s. Been there, done that.
