So I have a 95 XJ (2.5l 2wd 5spd) on a 3" RC lift still rolling around on 215's. I plan on upgrading to 31's but I only have the funds to get two at a time. Will there be any negative side effects or running 31's in the rear while keeping the front axle stock for the moment? I will probably only have this set up for a couple weeks and the only issue I can think of (aside from looking really silly) is the headlights will be aimed down. Would this make the vehicle unsafe to drive at highway speeds (no more than 65mph)?

How high should my lift be?
I just want to see the difference in size lifts between 3" and 4.5" lift. I just got a 96 xj country and have some money saved for a lift. My dad is pushing towards 3" lift but I like higher so anything helps thanks!

Which one should i get? If i go with RE, I'll have to order the bracket too which is another ~$65ish. So the prices are pretty equal, would just like to know how each of them perform on and off road. thanks fellas (and gals?)!

You'd be happy with either of those. I've used the IRO DS trackbar on several vehicles with excellent results, but I'm planning to try out the RE DS bar on my next build

New coils or shocks?
I've got rough country's 2.0 shocks and their 6.5 lift coils on dropped control arms and my ride above 55 is scary. It goes wherever it wants and a passing truck will make it feel like it's about to go off the side of the road. Anyways I'm consider either getting new shocks (bilsteins or rancho 7000mt) or getting rid of the cheapo coils and going with metal cloak dual rates. Which one is more likely to help with my stability?

tire size help!
Hey guys,
I just bought a stock 98 xj completely stock. Since I have added a 3 inch rough country lift. I just found a great deal on quadratech's website for wheels and need to see what the best tire size for me will be without major trimming. The wheels are m/t classic ll 16x8 with 4 7/16 backspace. I'm willing to do wheel spacers or anything else needed. I'm hoping to get 265/75r16 but not sure they will fit. This is my daily driver but I do some off-road but never disconnect the sway bar. Anyone with experience here let me know what tires they recommend! Thanks

Hey guys, quick question for any of you who have mixed-and-matched your lifts:
So I bought a 3" lift kit from Rustys. It came with a full leaf pack and new 3" coil springs for the front. While I was at it, I replaced the old stock shackles with new .75" grease-able extended shackles. I'm running stock tires right now, and the ride height is way off. Way more than I intended...
The measurements from the center of my hub to the fender in the rear of the jeep is 23.5" and 20" in the front. Instead of stacking 3.5" worth spacers...I think it would be a much better idea to buy new springs. If so, what size should I look for? 4" springs? Being 1/4" lower in the rear shouldn't be noticeable, but then again I don't want to make the same mistake twice! Neither of the sway bars are connected right now if that makes any diffidence.
Any help is really appreciated.
