so the rubicon express mono tubes are actually bilstein 5100s made to fit their lift?

this question has probably been asked before but would a transfer case drop get the job done for a 3.5 inch lift or would that be too risky? ( I just dont have the money rn to buy a sye and new shaft) so this would be temporary about 4 months

You could try it and see if it helps, if it doesn't work you will have to put up with vibrations for 4 months, and potentially wear out your motor mounts. I would just wait and do a SYE.

Ok so I finally bought my 4.5 inch Rubicon Express lift. Now it is time to get the SYE and shocks. Right now I can afford the RE twin tubes, I have not been able to find any reviews on these. I know twin tubes are generally a lower quality shock, but how do they honestly ride on the road? If they are not any good, I am going to wait and get some bilsteins or the RE mono tubes.

There's nothing wrong with using those, but they won't lay as long or ride as nice as a more expensive shock

I have a 3inch lift with 31x10.5 M/T tires. i want to add a 2inch spacer in the front and a two inch shackle extension in the rear. from anyones ones experience can you guys tell me if thats a bad idea for any reason. Or might it just look funny with too much wheel gap? THANKS IN ADVANCE

Twin-tube also runs the risk of the fluid and the gas combining under heavy suspension cycling... which most people on here won't experience unless they're off-road racing, but it's still important to note. Twin-tube is low-pressure dampening and mono-tube is high-pressure dampening.

When tires get rebalanced do they remove existing weights first, add to them, or does it depend on shop, or what you ask for? 31x10.5 Duratrack on stock wheel, one tire has what I think is a lot of weight on both sides, do they ever dismount and spin tire 90* or 180* ?

Did a tire rotation as part of DW hunt, and it made it worse.

A lot of weight on both sides of wheel in the same area could be a bent wheel.
Can still be balanced with bent wheel, but once on vehicle it will cause issues.

They're supposed to spin the tire first. If it needs a lot of weight, they should break the bead, rotate the tire 90°, and spin it again. Repeat til they find a spot where the weight requirement is reasonable.

Most won't do all that, though

Newbie to the site.

I've been looking at picking up a cherokee sport for some time now, found one yesterday and have a question before I pull the trigger.

The jeep is a 98' with 272kms on the clock and a 3" pro comp lift. I didnt break out the tape measure yesterday when I was looking at it but the front end sits significantly higher than the rear and I'm wondering why, and if it's a leveling issue or an actual mechanical issue with the struts, leaf springs etc?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
