The problem is, should i lift the front and then the SYE or do the reverse? I will need to have time between each task as i have a breaker bar and sockets to do the work and not much time on days off to do the whole thing at once. I already hear a clacking periodically when i apply gas at approximately 20mph. I assume it is the case chain.
If you have to pick one or the other, the answer is do the SYE and REMOVE the TC drop. There will be less strain on your driveline components. When you drop the tre transfer case, you're essentially putting more stress on the motor mounts AND even though you decrease the angle of the rear driveshaft, you increasing the angle of the front. The SYE puts the angle of the motor and transmission back where it's supposed to be and the angles of the front and rear driveshafts are both back where they should be.

Well I'm going to do BOTH the lift and SYE, but one at a time. So I was concerned that if I lift the front next, the new increased angle from the front being raised as well will make the shaft angles even worse.

Right... I understood that from your post. And yes... it will make them worse. Do the SYE first, and remove the TC drop at the same time. THEN lift the front.

When I showed up they looked a lot more like 20,000 miles than 2000 miles so I haggled him down to 160... Lol

Looking for opinions regarding onroad handling of 32x11.5x15 vs. 265/75r16 (~31.5x10.5)

A friend tried both and felt the 265/75 setup was night and day superior for onroad handling vs. the 32x11.5. He stated the larger wheel / less sidewall was the primary reason.

I am only looking for opinions from people who have used both setups or something similar.

Quick question regarding a new speedo gear. I'm saving up for some 32x11.5x15 Goodyear Wrangler MT/R K (31.8 diameter I believe). What is the proper speedo gear I should get? I've seen a bunch but nothing specific to the size. 97', d30/8.25, auto, NP231

It's gonna depend on which tires you buy. Ply count and load rating will have a bigger impact than the inch of wheel difference

It will depend on what gear ratio you have.
