I have one more question. Where can I find lower control arms that work for 3-5"? I saw the BSD ones and I don't want to shell out $150 on them but if I don't replace them I understand death wobble will ensue
EDIT: I found some at iron rock which is like 15 min away from me they have fixed lca's for $129 and adjustable for $180

Best part about zone is that they only have one guy running their customer service which tells you that they don't get too many complaints haha. I'd definitely buy from them again, I got the best bang for my buck and the quality is awesome.

Alriiiiiighty so as u can see I got bored and did some painting to lol....just taped it off...sanded it down and bed lined the black there...but I'm also sitting at around 5"s..
U can see the true two spacer up front there...and I put some lca's on..(now I need longer brake lines and shocks for sure, but it drives fine for now...).
But in the back there we got some of those cheap shackles from advance auto..but on the xj as most of u prolly know it is narrower up at the top where the stock shackle is then gets wider as it comes down to the leaf eye...so to make up for that we measured the distance in the shackle, and cut it in half...then u grind it down to get a good weld, and put the part that's goin in the top on the inside of the lower..(hopefully u can see it in the pics)...but if u do that it fits peeeeerfect...perfect narrower to wider angle! We also welded in a square spacer up top to keep the shackle stronger, and keep them spaced and supported...but all in all it worked perfect...and was verrrry inexpensive to do!!!
Lol, the hardest part was gettin the pain in the a$$ bolts out lol...

I know I will have to buy control arms and a track bar if I do it that way so I am not sure what I will do yet. It was a thought to save some money.
Yours looks good. Not sure what made you bed line the front fenders thought?!

Thanks for helping me out...I will be back for more! haha I gotta say that I wish I had been a jeep lover before. I am sold on why people love their jeeps so much. I don't know why but i just never owned one before! I have 229,000 miles on this puppy wish me luck to see what I can get out of it! Thanks again!

Alrighty, right now I am saving up money to place a down payment on either a Ford F250 Super Duty or a Chevy 2500HD, but while I save up that cash my jeep is looking a little plain.
I eventually want to put BFGoodrich Baja T/A 33X10.50R15/C tires onto my Cherokee, down the road, like 1.5-2 years from now :P. However right now I wouldn't mind getting some nicer rims to give my jeep some character.
I have 225/75 R15 tires on my Cherokee right now and I'm looking for a D.O.T. approved beadlock wheel/rim that I can put on my jeep right now, give it some agreesiveness, and eventually throw in the Baja T/A tires onto the rim at a later date.
Can you assist me?
Thank You

I have a 6.5 " lift with 31x10.5's that arent even close to rubbing on stock rims. I have had 33 12.5's before on offset rims that fit fine. My question is can I get away with 33x10.5's on stock rims? I know they're not too wide but will the diameter of them rub the lower control arm?

Alrighty, guess i'll take a stab at asking some questions.
I have a 3" lift, coils up front and It had blocks in the rear. The stock leafs were starting to invert so I made a few calls and picked up some Pro Comp 2.5" rear leaf springs. Besides using my sawzall to get the old leafs out, it was a huge pain in the ***!!. But anyways, I put the new leafs on and DAMN does it sit high in the rear. At full flex my shocks barely reach. I understand that the leafs need to settle, but i mean, how much could these things drop rest at?
My other question is, what would be the cheapest way to go up another 1.5"? I'd like to do 4.5 inches of lift, would shackles and spacers be a good enough way? Also what else would i need to do to the drivetrain and suspension parts? Possibly extended brake lines too?
Thanks guys, i appreciate it.
