Ok, after some consideration I'm back leaning toward a 3.5" lift. Rubicon Express has the consensus for quality. I will install an adjustable track bar, but I'm wondering if the SYE and CV driveshaft would still be the "correct" way to do things, or am I fine without them?

Looked at Rusty's offerings. The advanced 3" kit has what I want at a good price if I add adjustable upper and lower control arms, sway bar disconnect and a steering stabilizer. Would there be a benefit to upgrading to the long travel shocks? Would they allow more movement of the suspension? Would I need to modify or replace bump stops?

I remember someone once having mentioned a list for all the things needed
when lifting a jeep. For e.g. with a 2'' lift you'd have to change the brake lines and so on.
By chance does anyone here have that list ?

Alright so I want to do 3 in. lift on 31's for my 01, but I need to keep costs low. I'm 16 and don't have a steady income. Any recomendations? I know I can do a bastard pack or add a leaf for the rear and maybe find some junk yard shocks as well, but I'm not sure. Thanks guys

I listed my XJ 3.5" with used coils, almost brand new Rubicon Express leaf springs, JK Wrangler shocks (not recommended; wrong length), a brand new Iron Rock Offroad double shear trackbar, 5 wheels, and 5 brand new Duratrac 33x12.5 tires. I spent under $1000 for everything after spending 7 months gathering parts.
