Has anyone installed an Extreme Duty Rubicon Express Track bar/bracket (RE1660 & RE1665) onto a RE 3.5" lift? I purchased the upgraded track bar but I noticed it's recommended for 4-6" lifts. Wondering if the threads will need to be cut down.

If there's still threads on the shaft but the heim is bottoming out, cutting some threads off the end to thread it on farther will not be harmful. Just bevel the new end so the threads go on easier and the end isn't jagged.

Hello everyone , Was looking at the iron rock XJ 3" Premium Short Arm Lift Kit, I will be on the road more then off , but come hunting season on the trails , Will this kit be good ride on pavement ? or should I be looking at another kit ? I just want 3" of lift and run 31's .

I am going to install a 3" rough country lift kit (the $255 one) and I was wondering if I need an adjustable track bar and/or a transfer case drop if the driveline angle is too sharp?

Still set on that kit, huh? You will likely need an adjustable TB to keep the axle centered, and you won't know about the TC drop till you lift it. Some XJs are fine, some aren't.

It's missing everything else you need for a 3" lift. Like leaf springs and extended sway bar links.

This is what the kit consist of. I know it's missing other things but I don't know what those things are. This kit is still cheaper than buying everything separate because just alone buying the shocks and coils separately will be more than $255 and then getting just even those 2 leafs would be even more.

You want to lift the rear end twice? Why? Plenty of kits include full leaf packs.
That thing is missing a LOT of important parts... like U bolts for instance
