2" drop from a bumper? Maybe if the springs are made from twist ties... what parts are on there? Is this an add-a-leaf?

Ya its RC 3" add a leaf pack. Pretty much everywhere I've read says new bumpers will give me around a 1" drop and I want to try and counteract that. Pretty much a waste of how much it too to lift it in the first place

I didn't lose any lift. I actually gained some with my bumpers being lighter than my bumper and hitch. First problem is the add a leaf, did you get control arms, or a new track bar? Extended brake lines?

Yeah you need actual lift springs. My 3" RC AAL takes about 50 pounds before sagging. A heavy bumper and some gear would make it ride on the bump stops. AALs temporarily improve the arch of the OE spring packs but they do not make up for the lower spring rate, which on 20 year old metal is pretty damn low.

I have new control arms and an IRO Double sheer adjustable track bar. I know the AAL is only a temp option but as I'm still in college it was really my only option at the time. I've been looking into bastard pack springs using s10 springs to give more lift but am not 100% i want to go that route. currently my XJ is my DD but once i get something newer it will turn into a real toy
real quick question and I know its going to sound stupid but how do I figure out what kind of axle I have in the rear? either the 8.25 or d35? I have a 92 Laredo with a np231 tc thanks

If you have ABS, you have a D35.
Otherwise, compare to these images.
This is a Dana model 35:
This is a Chrysler 8.25":
The defining feature of the C8.25 is the big flat spot on the bottom of the housing that sticks out past the diff cover.

Awesome thankyou that answers my question
**HELP**
Hello, I have a 95 Cherokee. All of it is stock. The leaf springs in the back look so damn cheap. The aren't ever concave, they are like flat in the middle another starts to go down not up. Any questions on how to fix it without breaking the bank?

Replace them. Crown makes OEM replacements in Standard or Heavy Duty

Dorman makes a set as well, they have the bushings in them already too. Some have said they are not heavy duty but if you have amazon prime they will run about $200 to the door.

I need some more advice. I've decided to piece together a 4.5" lift that has the parts that I want so I only do this once. I have two options below and would like your opinions.
I already have the below...
RE 4.5" coils - Already Have
RE Adjustable Track Bar - Already have
These are the 2 options I'm looking at.
Option 1
Rear 3.5" Rubicon Express Leafs
Zone or RC 1" Shackles
IRO Upper and Lower Adjustable Control Arms
Rusty's 6 degree shims
Extended Brake Lines
Quick Disconnects
8.25 U-Bolts
Option 2
Rear 3.5" Rubicon Express Leafs
Zone or RC 1" Shackles
Rusty's 6 degree shims
Extended Brake Lines
Quick Disconnects
8.25 U-Bolts
RC Long Arm upgrade Kit
I will be getting an SYE for both options
