Default Coil spacers and adjustable shackles on xj

New to the jeep modfication world. I was browsing rough country website and saw adjustable shackles and coil spacers (2") for $100. I have a 2000 Cherokee sport. Would those two installed give me about 2" lift without having to do anything else? Am I missing something because that seems too good to be true. What are the cons of installed them on a stock suspension. Thanks.

I actually had a 2in lift in that combo you listed above a couple years ago and it was fine still drove like a stock xj. A 2in lift isn't enough lift to hurt anything

Default Lift tire combo

Welp I'm new to jeep and this forum and recently got a good deal on a 01' WJ 2WD. I have been trying to upgrade things bit by bit. I am now on the wheels/tires/lift and ran into a problem... I currently added 265/70/17's with a 2in lift and had to remove the front bumper for clearance. I believe I need to get a 4in lift to have proper clearance and bumper placement be the problem is I can't find a kit that is made for the 2WD 01 WJ laredo... can anyone tell me if they make one and if so point me in the right direction? Any help is appreciated.

95% sure the suspension for 2WD and 4WD WJs is the same. Go check out RockAuto.com and see if the application guide mentions 2WD or 4WD.

For some reason wj lifts are listed weird. My friend couldn't find one listed for an awd wj but could find ones for 4wd wjs. I know his worked out fine, I don't see what differences there would be. I'd call a company and see what they say.

I said the same, but every shop I tried so far wouldn't do it, they all said 4wd only when they went to look up the parts including the 4wheelparts.com shop near me

When I do two inches is there anything I need to replace? Brake lines, steering parts, axle fluids? Chassis grounds?

Also should I just buy new leaf springs for the back and or do a bastard pack my rear springs seem weak and barely take a load without squatting
Or am I just expecting more than they should be asked

They're exactly the same. I had a 2000 and there was nothing different at all.

Just tell 'em you have a 4wd... what are they gonna do, go out and check your stuff and report you to the BS police?

I am replacing front upper and lower control arms, sway bar links, as well as whatever other parts I find out are damaged once I start pulling stuff off on my '98 Cherokee after an accident and intend to get a 2" lift soon. I know it isn't necessary for such a small lift but are there any benefits to getting stuff like adjustable LCA/UCA or anything else I should not just go with OEM replacements?

Also, any recommendations for sway bar disconnects since I'm replacing the links anyway?

Guys, I currently have a 4.5" lift in the front with rubicon express coils + a 1.5" spacer on top of the coil. On the back I have 2.5" with shackles + a 2" block spacer below the leaf springs. So, my XJ is 6" in the front and 4.5" in the back.

My XJ ran great with 31"s but I just bought new set of tires and i fall in love with the new bf all terrain ko2 with black methode wheels 15x10. So, I need more space on the back because when im hitting Baja on some trails the tire hit the body. but if im adding more lift on the back i would also do it on the front.

so, i bought the RE1358 coils which will provide 7.5" of lift and the RE1463 leafs for a 3.5" of lift and I will leave the 2.5 shackle. My intention is to have a 7.5 in the front and a 6 on the back.

the question i have is in regards of the coils, i just receive them and they are 13 spins vs the 12 spins my current 4.5 have.

is there any way i can identify if the coils are the correct 7.5 i request before install them?
did any of you have the "non installed" length of the RE1358? or does 13 spins sounds correct to you guys?

these are my wheels and tires.... 33x12.5r15 bf goodrich all terrain ko2 / methode wheels 15x10

What have you done to compensate for all that lift aside from springs, shackles, and shocks?

If you look closely at those new springs you will see that the spring itself is thicker than your older spring, so it won't compress as much when the spring is in place.

I think it's time for someone to post your chart. I don't like short arms on my 3" lift let alone a 7.5" lift. At least he's getting rid of the blocks...
