I do a lot of backroads here in Ca and see SUVs, sport trucks, and sometimes cars. Multiple flat tires on the same vehicle at the same time is not an uncommon sight. So every time I see these odd brand tires I wonder about puncture resistance. Something to think about before going offroad with them.
Hello fellow XJ owners. I bought my second XJ recently but have a question about the sway bar linkage. It is lifted around 4" by my best guess but I don't know what kind as it was already installed when I got it. I'm pretty sure I need new links but idk what size or where to begin. I've attached two pictures of each side, and you can see on the drivers side where it lost a bushing. So my question is what size links do I need to correct my problem?
Kinda glad I've come across this thread, and first post to the forum lol but my 99 xj has 3" zone off road with 2" couplers and 2" drop shackles so sitting roughly 5". I have just the stock cherokee wheels with 31x10.5 tires on it right now. I don't go trailing a lot, but I'd like to every so often. What's my best bet for wheels, tires, and the BS. Still plan on trimming the rear fenders. Thank you for any tips or advice in advance. And yes I know I have a tj front bumper on my jeep lol

The links seem to be fine, it's the bolts for the link-to-bar brackets that needs replaced. It looks like someone caught some air in the front end and bent the **** out of 'em when he landed.
My suggestion would be a set of swaybar disconnects. JKS, Rubicon express, or see if Dukie564 is interested in making another order (these are the ones I run). If you're going to spend money in swaybar links, may as well spend just a little extra that you can disconnect really quickly to improve your trailability.
Mine is disconnected 99% of the time. Makes a big improvement in the handling and ride on our unimproved state rds. A lot are switchbacks and water damaged. Only connect it when I'm going on a main highway for a long haul.
Econo lifts. Stupid idea or no? What's a quality modest lift.
I just got back my old '96 XJ my dad has been using part time when he is in town. Thing is clean as can be though it does have some underside rust. Body is nearly perfect.
I want to keep it pretty much stock but it could use a modest lift... maybe some bigger wheels/tires when it's time. I'm thinking 2" 2.5". Probably going to let my kid's use it so I don't want to get too crazy with it.... but, it could be cooler then it is

Just go to 3 inches. Better quality at that height
Thanks you guys... just what I needed. 3" and 31's would definitely look great and I may go that route but I'm thinking 3" lift with the current stock wheels and tires would look silly. Tires on it are pretty beefy though... for stock anyway. I guess I'd just have to do both at the same time $$$
i have a 1995 XJ running stock shocks and i just put 2" inch blocks in the rear it the front is super low, i try putting g 1 1/2 inch spring boosters in the front but i think have a huge differents in height, which levelin kit should i get for the front 2 or 3 inch??? remember i'm using stock shocks i don't go off-road i am running 31x10.5x15 would like to upgrade to 33's... any suggestions please?
