i have a 1995 XJ running stock shocks and i just put 2" inch blocks in the rear it the front is super low, i try putting g 1 1/2 inch spring boosters in the front but i think have a huge differents in height, which levelin kit should i get for the front 2 or 3 inch??? remember i'm using stock shocks i don't go off-road i am running 31x10.5x15 would like to upgrade to 33's... any suggestions please?
i don't drive very aggressive to tell you the truth, this jeep comes from ohio so the snow has damage everything, i don't mind the cutting for the 33's but you think i can run a 3'inch levelin on the front with stock shocks??

You can't, and 3" isn't a leveling kit; it's a lift. You'll need to buy some parts to do it safely

It doesn't matter how aggressive you drive. At that additional height you might as well just remove the shock absorbers. Their valving is set up to work within a certain range. Beyond that they do not function properly. Blocks are bad on these narrow springs and wear them out quickly. XJs are not trucks.
Anyway, the chart:

Had some fun on the mountain this evening. I have a question. Is there any way to lift the rear a couple of inches without adding blocks? Or leaf springs? All ideas would be appreciated. Plus will parts from a 97 Cherokee fit on a 99? I found a junker I want to salvage for parts. Thanks in advance.

No, I don't lick fish.
Also... your tire choices are kind of apples to oranges. One is a mild A/T / H/T blend, the other is an aggressive A/T mild M/T... need to consider what kind of driving you'll be doing and THEN choose the type of tire.
If your goal is fuel economy and you maybe wheel once a month or so... then go with something like the Wildpeak.
If your goal is maximum traction and you wheel on a regular basis, go with someone more aggressive like the Grabber X3.... or even consider something a little more viable like the Goodyear MTR, BFG MT, or Cooper STT Pro.

Newbie, deciding on what lift to get
Alright so I'm new to this whole Jeep modification thing, but I'm really interested on getting properly educated, hoping you guys can help me out.
I've got a stock XJ, clean slate. First thing I want to do is put a lift on it. Now, I don't want to get too crazy, one reason being that I've heard once you start getting into 3in+ lifts, the handling decreases and it starts getting pretty pricey if done correctly. So I'm thinking a 2in-2.5in suspension lift.

Thoughts? The tires on it currently are the BF Goodrich All Terrains K/O 2 215/75/15. Maybe thinking about getting some bigger tires on there too.
