I have a 2001 xj with 3' spacers in the front and 2.5" shackles in the back. Im adding 4.5" coil springs next week for a total of about 8", 7" after the coils settle of coarse. My question is what is the minimum/ most important things needed as far as drop brackets, shock extensions, etc? I am 17 and do not have the money to buy everything immediatly so what do i absolutely need for the xj to function correctly and what can wait a couple days before modifying.

And for that matter, if you want to save your flares, just go with 31s. The differrence in size from 32s to 31s is minimal, but that's even less a chance of rubbing. Plus there's more options for tires
I saw you have a 4.5" lift. What wheels are you running currently. Can use that as a starting point. How aggressive the stance is will always be a personal preference. But with fitting most aftermarket options are going to work. Width matters. My personal preference is a 15x8 with around a -19mm offset.

I just posted this in my build, and it might be a stupid question, but is there anything special I should do for storing tires? I just got a set of 4 Duratracs, and they aren't mounted to wheels yet. I hope to mount and install them as soon as possible, but there is a possibility that they can sit for a couple months. Can they stay in the garage or should I try and bring them inside? Should I put them in bags? I know it sounds funny, but I want to make sure they're good if they sit for a couple months.
Also, what do you guys recommend for balancing (they're 31's)? Road Force? Balancing beads? I want to make sure these ride smooth and don't wear funny like my BFG's.

Thanks! Are they fine in the cold? We can get as low as -30 with wind chill here in the winter. I currently have them stacked 2 high on some cardboard in the garage.
