Potentially dumb question but I don't know much about this. I just had an alignment done the other day and afterwards I went back to adjust the trackbar because I noticed it the axle wasn't centered. Since I had to unbolt the trackbar at the body and have someone turn the steering wheel to fit the bolt in would that have thrown the alignment off at all?

Why didn't you take it back to the alignment shop and ask why your axle wasn't adjusted properly?

BUT... like the others said, I would have taken it back to the shop to find out why they didn't do it in the first place.

4-4.5" Lift Choice
So I Just bought a 96 stock Country XJ and am looking to throw a 4-4.5" lift on the thing. Right now I am comparing the IRO XJ 4" Premium Short Arm Kit with new leafs and upgraded shocks to the RE 4.5" Super-Flex Suspension with new leafs with some OME (still not sure on this yet). My hope is to place some 32s on it in the end.
This is my first Jeep and I'm pretty pumped, it's okay that neither system is perfect I just want to know the potential shortcomings and how to mitigate them. I know I will be needing to throw a SYE on either most likely and have to switch out my crappy 27-spline C8.25 but is there anything else I should be looking out for as I make this comparison? Anybody have any experience with either of these setups?
It will be a dd for some time.

Thats just something I've notice in my research. Again, I think you'd be happy with either kit.

Alright sounds good thanks. One more thing is that I have a vibration that seems to start around 15 mph and go away at 30 mph or whenever I let off the gas. I do have 3.5" of lift but the rear shaft angles aren't the problem because I corrected that already. I took the front driveshaft out to see if that was it but it wasn't. Could it just be my new 31" bfg at tires? It's not an intolerable vibration, just makes me think somethings wrong

Rough Country 3" lift with add a leaf
Got this kit in this weekend. installed the front coils and lower control arms and gained about 3 1/4 inch in ride height. For whatever reason i was on the rough country page and under features, it says this kit will only provide 1 1/2 inch to 2 inches in the rear. Has anyone used the add a leaf part of this kit and what was your final static gain? I have a dakota spring pack that I was going to build a bastard pack but thought, what the heck, I got these new add a leafs, might as well use them. Trouble is....I don't want to take them back out once i get them installed. Got everything out from under the rear end now, just trying to make this a one time thing. I'm not opposed to combining the add a leaf and part of the dakota pack if need be. Any suggestions appreciated. thanks
No, I don't lick fish.

I'd like to do that eventually but I'm going to wait until I do the 4.5" LA lift I have in the plans. Just wanted something for now that's better than the OEM track bar. Saw this and was just curious. I'm gonna go ahead and go with the RE bar though. Comes with the misalignment spacers, nut, and bolt ya need to make it work with the OEM bracket... not that I'm a huge fan of that bracket, but works.
