I think the shipping on that would be a deal breaker Would probably just end up sitting around in my garage for a while and getting in my way all the time anyway lol...

So question: why is it nearly impossible to find a 16x8 alloy wheels with less than 4.5" of backspacing? It's crazy. It's like they done exist. I really want to go with 16's so I can get some WJ calipers on the front, but I might just say screw it and go with 15's.

Can anyone point me to some Rubi style 5 spokes in the size I want?

Im going to run 285/75/16 which is roughly 32.8x11.4

dont want to run wheel spacers and don't want to run lol.

Be sure and get the Akebono calipers and not Teves.
Teves = 1999 - 2002 model WJ
Akebono = late 2002-2004 WJ
Don't you need the WJ steering knuckles too?

thanks steve. I'm doing the zj swap in the back right now, then on to the fronts later after I get some new wheels. I've been looking for wheels for months with no luck.

Keep in mind, ZJ rotors have the same bolt pattern as XJ, 5" x 4.5"
WJ rotors/hubs are 5" x 5". Also, WJ calipers will not bolt onto XJ knuckles.

I mean, am I gonna rub with 33's and a 16x8 with 4.5" back spacing? I get a tiny little bit right now with 31x10.5 on factory Ecco wheels. They're 15x7 with 5.5" back spacing

Keep in mind when you're shopping for wheels that aren't made for trucks/SUVs, many car wheels are not rating for a sufficient weight capacity to take them offroad.

Summit has hundreds of wheels that will fit onto our axles, but would deform if you put the Jeep up on one or two wheels. Do your due diligence

Ok so I'll ask the question in an easier way.

Anyone running a 33" tire with 8" wide wheels? (Gotta be 100's of people)

what is your backspacing and does it rub?

I was for awhile, 33X12.5 MTZs on 15X8s with 4" backspacing, close, but no rubbing.

sweet. Thanks man. Finally ordering wheels today. Looks like I'll have gears, a limited slip, disc brakes in the rear and wheels and tires going on all at the same time. Should be a great weekend
