I just got done putting in a RC 3" lift and the jeep has no vibes at all. I did get new break lines because when I was installing the lift I needed to stretch the break lines to drop the axle far enough to get the springs in so I do know that when I am flexing fully.

Remove the rear sway bar and get some front sway bar for a 3" lift and I think you will be fine for a while. Then how to lift it one more inch will be the next question.

If I took the coils and leafs out of an f-150 would it work on lifting my 96 xj? What other work would I need to do? I just need a cheap lift. Suggestions?

3 questions:

1. what is the verdict on Tomken lifts?

2. why are Fox shocks crazy spendy, like seriously what could be that amazing about them?

3. who runs Bilstines here, and what do they think of them?

You guys running the rough country 3 inch lift... did you buy the full leaf pack or the AAL?

I either want to get the RC 3inch lift with full leafs or the Rubicon express 3.5 inch super flex kit.

The rough country comes with:
Front: 3" lifted coil springs, lower control arms, and sway-bar drop brackets.

Rear: Add-a-leaf springs and hardware. (I'll be getting the FULL leaf pack)

Shocks: Kit includes (4) Nitro 9000 series shocks

Option: Available with new rear springs (+$264)

Cost would be 600.

The Rubicon Express kit comes with:
RE1140 - GEN2 DISCONNECTS 0-2" TJ,
RE1300 - COIL SPRINGS XJ 3.5"/PAIR
RE1380 - BUMPSTOPS 2" FRONT LOWER
RE1463 - LEAF SPRING XJ 3.5" W/BUSHING
RE1480 - SPRING CLAMP CLIP 2.5"
RE1515 - BRAKE LINE SS REAR 18"
RE2421 - U-BOLT KIT M35 REAR, YJ / XJ 2
RE3700 - CONTROL ARM SF2 LOWER FIXED

Total would be 760.

Which kit do you guys think would be more satisfying / better value to get?

Also with both those kits what else would be recommended to get?
adj. track bar front brake lines and a drop pitman arm?

I'd say Rubicon Express except they are closed and not doing business at this time. Look at rustys I would check them out over RC

I'd say 35-40 psi when the tires are cold.
