I have aftermarket bumpers so I €™m not sure if it would rub on the factory bumper caps, but the only reason I had to trim a bit out of the flare was because I have an insane amount of travel with the 3 link front suspension. You could probably get away without trimming. This is how it looked with the 33s and trimming all done and it never rubbed offroad flexing out. Bumpstops help a lot with that though Attachment 399925Attachment 399923Attachment 399924 the fender flares were knocked off on objects not by the tires. Lost the rear one on a rock and the front one on a tree.

Wouldn €™t call it a kit, but it €™s 4.5 € RE springs in the front with 12 € travel bilstein 5100 and a cav fab 3 link RE track bar, track bar bracket and track bar brace, and cav fab steering. Rear is 4.5 € RE leafs with a 1.25 € RE shackle with HD offroad shackle boxes and 10 € travel bilstein 5100 shocks.

Ball joint recommendations
Okay so I'm going through ball joints almost every other oil change. Jeep is driven regularly and wheeled hard 3-5 times a year and is on 35s. First set were Moog and lasted less than 5k miles, second set were Advance Auto because the Spicer ones I originally ordered did not send the correct size, those lasted less than a month because of trail carnage. 3rd set were also Advance because I had very limited time to get an axle under the jeep.
Now my uppers are bad again after my last trip and looking to spend the extra $$ as so they don't crap out on me, changing ball joints sucks and I'm tired of it lol. I cant decide on Synergy https://www.quadratec.com/products/56100_3011.htm, Alloy USA http://www.quadratec.com/products/56100_0010.htm, or to just go with Spicer again and hope they send the correct size this time. I understand the bigger tires wear components faster, but damn.

If you are jumping your jeep 5 feet in the air it could be a possibility, but it is more common for the wheel bearings to go out.

At what point if tire size do i need to lift my xj im not looking to make it a monster but would like to fit 31s with the minimal lifting and changing also if i do need to lift it how much and what all do i need with the lift

3 inch lift to fit 31s without trimming needed.

No, I don't lick fish.
You can keep the factory suspension if you want to trim up to the final lip and ditch the flares.
You can run 2" lift if you wanna trim the excess sheet metal and move the flares up.
Or you can lift it 3" and probably not have to trim at all.

Help please! this is the look I'm going for. I have a stock 1994 Sport, Manual transmission. I'm curious as to what sized lift this is and what sized tires and wheels will I need? Also, in addition to just the lift, tires, and wheels. What other changes am I looking at making. thanks so much!

I see a snorkel, some pocket flares from Bushwacker or Napier, and what I'd estimate is a 4.5" lift and 33" tires.
