Vibration
Hi Thanks for follow up.... I had the install done....By Les Schuab, I have heard maybe that wasn't the best choice... I did not notice vibration before lift was done....
I have made an appointment with a transmission / drive train shop, a town over from me for Monday... He says he should be able to diagnose where its coming from...I'll mention to him about the
transfer drop and mounts... Thanks..I'll get back to you Monday afternoon after I hear back....Tell you what he says..

No, I don't lick fish.
Has anyone on here tried iron man fans xjax kit?! It looks amazing https://www.ironman4x4fab.com/product-page/xjax-kit
Looks kinda cheesy to me. Also, not sure how one would get 12" of life safely and correctly from just shackles. If I'm spending a decently large amount on shackle relocation boxes and shackles I'm getting hd offroad no lift relocation boxes (actually already have them and love them, much better than the style that hangs down) and the boostwerks shackles (I plan to buy soon).

my only experience with them is on the bro trucks that come into the shop. Never seen one on an xj but I've asked a few of those thatcome in and they say they ride a little rough. But then again I don't know what their comparisons are to other then stock ride quality

so let me ask you this if you were trying to be cheap but didn’t want to go rough country obviously ... and you wanted to clear 32’s no trimming what lift would you go with ? This is a hunting/bad weather and will see a trail or two on rare occasions . I just bought the wheels and tires a few minutes ago to basically force my hand .

I am, just the jam nut and threads look like they'd come loose or one would be adjusted a little off from the other or something, and the shapes and such just look strange to me. Looks like the end of the shackle could be bent too possibly. Mine are generic shaped shackles and the no lift shackle relocation boxes that bolt through the floor and to the frame.
Anyway, yeah I know what you mean man, I've seen some hokey looking setups similar to that, but knowing Andy's reputation and the way he builds things, those are most likely TIG welded. I have, however, heard of many people running those shackles and they love 'em.
Mine is running 3" lift and 32x11.5x15. Does have fenders trimmed and clears but if your trying to keep it stock and no trimming then yea I agree 4" should be plenty.

I am still completely undecided . I have looked at everything imaginable . Not a big fan of the Iron Rock kits even though there long arm kit is inexpensive from the pictures they look weak/flimsy BUT I have not seen one in person !! Also read negative reviews on their particular design . Have read terrible things about Rusty’s but like there kits , but do not want junk . Rubicon express I like but there kits are priced a lot higher than the others and don’t offer anything extra that I see . I like what’s offered in the x-series rough country short and long arm lifts so much that I called 3 off road shops Friday to see why they get such a bad rep . The only thing I’ve been able to get anyone to say is their leafs sag after awhile which they all do and that their bushings aren’t the best but they’ve been redesigned and a bushing is a cheap easy fix compared to the tremendous cost savings . I’m NOT trying to put junk on my Jeep but I’ve seen 10 times the rough country lifts out there than any other lift in the real world and other than the Internet I’ve never heard a bad word besides one buddy that wheels his TJ like he’s got a death wish has put 2 sets of rear lower control arm bushings in over a 9 year span . several of the big companies sell rough country on their own site or sell hybrid kits with rough country components and one or two items of their own . The most impressive site I’ve seen is DPG Off-road I was looking at earlier tonight after being suggested to me from another site . They sell some hybrid kits too that are pretty impressive . I am really ready to order a kit but just haven’t locked onto “ the one” haha

I like the idea of having American Made DOM steel on my lift. I have attempted to research where rough country manufactures their control arms. I have come to the conclusion that only God really knows.
I can't be the only one that has noticed how crappy the steel is in china.
Honestly based on the specs the IRO rock link long arm kit is a beast. If it came with a 4th link then cav fab would not have had my business.
I have not seen one in person, but I know their pictures (or lack of) do not do the kit justice. Keep in mind that those long arms are about 4' long, and the joints are almost the size of your fist.
On a side note almost all of the RC components and lift kits have 4.5 / 5 ratings on amazon.
