So if the usual fix is a TC drop, what would I do in a car without a TC? And what are the chances of me having vibes? It's looking like i'm going to have to drive home from college one weekend to get it done, and I don't want to get the lift on and then realize I either have to miss some days of classes to troubleshoot, or drive 3 hours back to school with vibes

I've been reading upon bastard packs, and I printed the leaf chart that floats around this site. I'm looking at S10 or Dakota springs, and ZJ UpCountry front coils. My rear is sagging real bad now, and I'm looking for 2" or 3" of lift over stock.
My question is, 'What else do I need?' What else will I have to replace, relocate, or extend? I know the front brake hose needs to be relocated, and the rear hose must be replaced/extended. Will the TC need to be dropped at that height? Differential breathers? Do I need to replace shocks, and can I bastardize them, too? Anything else?
Sorry for the list of questions, but I haven't found anything that says what amount of lift requires the further changes.

Hello this is my first post asking advice, I’m sure it’s been ask before an apologize, I have the famous DW and a clunk in the steering on low speed turning. it was not there for almost 8 months of mostly street travel. I found the ware mark on the lower track bar mount when a friend moved the steering wheel for me. I'm planning on getting new bolts and bushings on the track bar as well as on the steering shock and torking them right.
I bought my XJ with the Rough Country lift already on and don't know the exact lift kit height. I called Rough Country they weren't much help at all. I’m trying to put a sway bar back on that was not on it when I bought it. I’m looking to get the right length on the links in the hopes to eliminate the problems. I have balanced Remington Wide Brute A/P P235/75R15 on now, don’t know if they are to small.
This needs to stay low budget on the fix if possible, any suggestions? thanks

affordable tires
hey everyone,
i just bought my first jeep a 2000 sport and need to get new tires, i have no lift and want an affordable set of all terrain tires, any good buys out there? and also i want to get the cragar soft 8 rims and was curious as to what backspacing to get for p235/75 R15 tires, which i read is the biggest tire u can run without a lift.
Thanks

You're going to need longer shocks. There's about a 35% chance you will need a t-case drop with a 3" lift. Stock UCAs and LCAs should be good up to 3" of lift although most replace the LCAs with longer ones. You will have to lengthen you front bake lines which is done by uncliping it from the inner wheel well and straightening out the metal portion of the line and resecuring it to the wheel well. The lift won't have an impact on your differentials. Tires will, however, if you decide to get them. Most ppl go with 31x10.50s with a 3" lift. As far as the swaybar links go, you have a few options: A) You can buy longer links, B) You can get swaybar lowering brackets and stock links, C) Take off the swaybar all together. It's not nessecary but you will get more lean around turns. What every way you choose (except option C) you will need new links. The stock ones will snap off when you try to take the nut off. They're not made to come off once they go on.
