I've got 8.5" with 35s and 4.56. I'm only at ~2400 rpms at ~70 mph and I wish I had a little more power through 1 and 2... So when i get around to changing my stock axles to a pair that I think will better handle the 35s (Dana 44 is what I'm aiming for) I will run 4.88s without a doubt... I was even thinking about trying to find someone with 5.13s so I could see exactly what it would feel like.
I have about 8 or 9 inches, I think, from the top of the tire to the bottom of my stock fender flares in the rear. About an inch less in the front.
I'd like to see some 33s with 4.56s...

By the way, I checked this morning and I was running 2250 RPMs at 70 MPH and ~2500 at 75 MPH

There is no sure way to tell. You wont know if you need an sye until you lift it and drive it. Plain as that. I put a 3.5" RE (4.5" actual lift) on my 01 and i definitely need one. Other people may not, just depends.

iv got a 6.5" lift and i don't have a SYE and don't need one iv got a TC drop and some 4 degree shims... later down the road im going to get a LTY (long travel yoke) here check it out http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchan...egory_Code=SYE
