I am trying to put about a 30 inch A/T tire on my stock 2000 jeep xj and i'm considering using the daystar 1.75 leveling kit to do this. has anyone used this kit before?

Also when putting this kit on should I also replace the factory shocks with some aftermarket ones? it has only 36000 actual miles and hasn't had a rough life at all and they seem to work great. Any input is greatly appreciated.!

You should be fine with your current shocks I think. Down the road that might be something to think about replacing. How much is the leveling kit? Is it coil spacers and shackles?

I need a new track bar so I was looking at the RC BAR + BRACKET. Could've sworn it said I'll also need a drop pitman arm for it to work. This can't be correct... can it?

So if all I've got is my stock trackbar and want to buy a new one for a 4.5" lift, I'll need a new bar, bracket, and drop pitman arm? I thought the bracket was to be used as a lowering mount to make the track bar work correctly..? What do I exactly need the DPA for?

that is the daystar leveling kit they offer. I can get it for around $125.

I also found another kit by skyjacker for about $300 I think it comes with shocks too. but this is my first vehicle to put a lift on and i'm just not sure on how things will be effected ( such as driveshaft angle, length of brake lines, etc..) when I go to changing parts like this.

You're front axle will not be centered under the vehicle correctly anymore after 2 inches I believe so you'll have to get a T bar, brake lines usually aren't affected until 3+ inches. Long story short, you WILL have issues here and there

No issues are expected at that height with those kits. Shocks are a good idea as your stock ones will be maxed out.
