Default any ideas out there

ive read where some guys are running 45-50 psi with a 33" tire and they claim that cured the wobble but i figured that was a little extreme so i was hoping to find a happy medium at 40 but i will drop it to 30 and see if that helps.the tires are wearing "normal" (if you will) with no cupping or uneven wear. i tried my stock tires (225-75-15's) and this only amplified the problem. i checked my wheel weights and they are all accounted for. this is really aggrivating as im not trying to destroy my new components prematurely or throw a grip of cash into it only to find that it was something simple

Default lift and tire = gear?

i bought an 01 xj it has brand new 3.73 gears with a 6'' lift on 289/75/16
i am considering on buying "claytons-8'' long arm kit" with either the new LTB 35/12.50/17 or nitto grapplers. would i be able to get away and keep the gears i have as of now since i will be doing 90% on road-10% off road
or would i have to change gears and if so what is the recommended size, i live in Texas so all we got is fields of mud and dirt roads when it rains on hurricane season.
ill stick to 33's if i have to change gears for the 35's, im still buying the lift i'm just stuck between tire size and gears!

I think 4.56 is recommended with 35s, but I'm sure at least 4.10. Wait for confirmation from someone who's lifted, though. I'm still stock for now.

Im running 35s with stock gearing now. Its a turd. I'll be going 4.88s soon

you'll top them out when flexing but you'll be ok with normal driving

Default just got the lfit in and i have problems

so i finished my rc 3in lift yesterday and havent replaced the tires or anything yet. on the road i was going 50 and hit a small bump the made my front end go into the "death wobble". i got off the road and checked all the connections on my steering and everything was fine. got back on and it happened again, eventually i had to drive 40 the rest of the way. Is this caused by asimple misalignment in the tires or do i need a new trac bar? any ideas?

It could be caused by several things. If you haven't done an alignment, get one done, a lift throws it way off. A lift puts extra stress on all the front end components, maybe something is worn and being at stock height you didn't get dw. But really alignment is where you start after lift. Then checking trackbar, tie rods, ball joints, balanced wheels.

Did you do an alignment?

no im taking it to ntb today to have it aligned

I picked up a 98 XJ for a daily driver a few months back. I had a 3.5 Rubicon Express lift and im looking into converting it into a 4.5 long arm so i can run 33's comfortably. Am i better off starting from scratch. what would i need to do this.

You need bigger coils, leafs and the long arms so you are basically starting from scratch anyway so its really up to you

back to the death wobble...its aligned now and i installed the new steering stabilizer from rc. as i was bolting it on the tie rod i noticed the tie rod rotates about 45 degrees. im almost sure that would cause the death wobble when driving so how do i fix it?
