Now I am thinking about a 4.5" lift. Was on rough country website and looked at picture of xj on site. Spoke to guy and he said it was his truck with a 4.5" with 31 x 10.5s. It looked sweet but not too crazy. With trans drop he said he had no driveline vibrations.

Yea man 4.5 looks good to...4.5 with 31's u won't have to trim or worry about rubbing...odds are if u have a 97+ u will have to do t case drop...older than that u might not have to do anything...I was 5.5 and didn't have any vibes...with no drop or sye.

U could do 33's at 4.5 with little trimming to...

x2. Pretty sure sway bar is the same; not sure about pitman arm. Grab a V8 ZJ tie rod if you don't already have one. Direct bolt-on replacement, and a big upgrade.

ZJ sway bar is the same thickness, but is not the same shape, and will not work.

just to spite NewKindofClown...
I compare them at the top:

Lmao that one was unintentional. I remember the only thing worth swapping is the tie rod, and I have a newly painted one on my balcony, waiting for my lift.

You want the tie rod itself. Click the link dukie posted. IIRC, the Chero tie rod is .75" tube. The V8 ZJ tie rod is a 1" rod. It's a noticeable difference when they're next to each other.
