I have a question, If I bought rusty's 3in lift, and the budget 2in boost, could I combine them to make 5in of lift?
Because I don't have money for both at once, but what else would I need to buy at 5in of lift, Some help would be much obliged.

I suggest browsing the forum, writing down questions you have, and trying to answer those through research. It's a good way to learn a lot about our vehicles, but I'm sure someone will give you a more direct answer here as well.

If the 3" is all springs, you can add a 2" BB with spacers and shackles for 5" total. You're looking at a lot of other necessary upgrades at that point, though.

But like, I don't wanna lift it all at once, is that the possible route for lifting it three inchs, then waiting to do the other 2 inchs? Cause i know i'd have to drop the t case, and get a trac bar, and brake lines, But i guess my question is, is that the possible route?

Exactly what I ment, Cause I'd rather not spend a whole lot on a lift, just what I need to get by, leaves more money for tires, and other stuff, Then the other 2in, thanks man haha.

Man, I hope I'm posting in the right thread but here goes. So I basically picked up my new baby a couple of weeks ago and it's been runnin' like a champ, no problems but after some goofing off and mainly just daily driving it, I'm starting to hear some major squeaking from the rear suspension when I go over speed bumps or rough terrain. I took a look at the back and discovered my leaf springs are FLAT. So I guess my first question would be if you guys think that this could be the main cause of all the terrible squeaking not to mention the extra rough ride that the truck is getting now. If this has been posted somewhere else before then I apologize but I've been searching and haven't necessarily found the exact answer I'm looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Oops forgot to mention that it supposedly has a 4 inch lift and I was hoping that you guys might be able to recommend a good set of replacement leaf springs for that saggy rear end, it's lookin like it kinda has a So-Cal style lift on it right now lol.

Turns out that its a little too much fun having a straight pipe for an exhaust...

I prefer to diy since it's cheap, fast, and I know what my XJ is doing then. Here's the best write-up I've found for a DIY alignment that takes into consideration lifts & big tires. The Alignment is the last write up in "Suspension Modifications" section.

If you take your XJ to an alignment shop make sure they know how to handle oversized tires & lifts. Lifts & big tires change the dynamics of the front end and the guy doing the alignment may have no idea how to compensate properly.
