Yeah...the lady of the house won't be too happy with an additional $500+ for a set of shocks lol. But I'll def keep that in mind.

I think she'd be okay with it to make the XJ ride like butter.

Especially cuz she drives it sometimes haha. But she had a habit of calling the jeep a truck....i don't mind too much cuz she actually likes it and doesn't really mind when I throw money into it. Before I buy/need upgraded shocks I'll make sure to buy her something first lol

Smart man.

I call my Jeep a car sometimes. Its got 4 wheels and a motor, who cares what its called.

Also by the time I'm "done" building it, nothing in the drivetrain will be Jeep.

It'll have a Cummins motor, Dodge transmission, Atlas T-Case & Chebby axles.

the 2.2s?

I have RC Nitro 9000s right now, and they fully suck in every way. I refuse to buy shocks from rough country no matter how good their new ones are purely out of the principle that I paid so much for shocks that are total junk

They'll probably rub a lot. You might think about lifting it another 1.5".

Worst case scenario you need a 1"-2" coil spacer which you can find all day long for dirt cheap new or used.
