Im throwing a 4" lift on my 87 xj tomarrow w sway bar quick releases and shock extenders. But heres my question. I found one of those 3" economy lifts that are the spaces above the spring for 100$. So i thought thats worth the extra clearance. Im a noob. So can these be combined together. And whats the advantage and dis advantage ect.

You can add a puck to a larger spring up front but if it has blocks for the back than DON'T get it! And 7 inches is extremely high, especially if your new to it. (No offence) so just do the new springs and either 32's or 33's

....bad idea. Not to mention needing an SYE, extended brake lines, new steering, track bar, and other things.
Its not as cheap as throwing $100 worth of lift on to an XJ if you plan to drive it on the road.

True ^^ I forgot about all the extras. I got the cheapest 4.5 inch lift on the market and it still cost me about $800 to get it driving and that's without a sye
