I've got 3 inches of lift an I am wanting to go higher but its my daily driver an I do some light wheeling which would b better 4.5 or 6.5?

if it's your DD and you go light wheeling go 4.5". It's the perfect lift height IMO. Above 5" you have to spend a lot more money.

I've got an '01 with a 3 inch rough country lift on 31's. I'd like to go up another couple inches to comfortably fit a 33x12.5. I was planning on a 2.25 inch coil spacer up front and a 2.5-3 inch shackle in the rear. Now my question is what other parts will be needed for that? Tcase drop? Trac bar? Control arms? I was hoping to do it as cheap as possible.

When installing a lift with new coils, are you guys disconnecting both lca or one side at a time..

one side should be all that's necessary. Trust me you don't want to have to line the axle back up on both sides at once

I can't seem to find a old post but i installed the 2 inch budget boost kit on my 2000 xj. Running 255/70/r16's. I have a vibration around 25-35 mph. I was told to use a t-case drop. Or use a yoke slip eliminator. Anyone have any suggestions? If all I need is a t-case drop I'd rather not spend the money on the yoke kit. All other speeds there's no problem just at the lower speeds. Thanks!

I purchased rough countrys 3in stage 1 kit a year ago. It included coil springs, 4 hydro shocks, and a add a leaf kit from www.roughcountry.com
I have really enjoyed this great kit but i want to upgrade to something bigger and higher quality. I would like it e in the 4-5.5in range. I have been looking at rock krawler, rubicon express, clayton, rustys, skyjacker, and terraflex.
Although ive put alot of stage 1 lift kits on im still new to the advanced lifts, what would be my best route to go?

I would stay away from skyjacker and teraflex - much better stuff out there. Rubicon Express is good (or was before it got sold). Rusty's has good springs but everything else sucks. Rock Krawler is more hardcore oriented with their stuff, and as a result their lift components are some of the best out there. Clayton Offroad is hard to beat as well - fantastic products.

It pretty much comes down to what you're going to use it for and how much you're willing to pay. You're going to pay a premium for RK and Clayton kits, but you get what you pay for.

If you're budget oriented, add RC back to your list - their kits/quality is hard to beat for what you pay, and their kits are very complete. Also I would add IronRockOffroad kits to the suggestion box too - great stuff for the price

Yea i like iro's products and RK, they look like very solid lifts, and i agree with u rc price is hard to beat. I thought about getting rc's 4.5la lift but with that much $ i could get a very high quality lift from either RK or iro. Im looking for a lift that isnt too rough on road but wont suffer off-road.

Afternoon,

Were currently putting together a parts list to complete our 01 cherokee build.

So Far I have decided on the RE 3.5 super flex. I will add there trac bar and upgrade to bilstein 5100's.

Probably end up doing some 15x8 pro comp steel wheels with a 4.5 bs.

What tires would you reccomend. Were going to run stock bumpers and flares as the jeep is in good shape (60th anniversary model)

Were looking at the pro comp mud terrains.

31x10.5-15

32x11.50R-15

I can't figure out what to run but I dont really want to run into bad rubbing issues. The 31" tire says actuall diameter is less than 31" (30.2 diameter)

32" tire says 31.4" overall diameter.

basically I want to run the biggest usable tire.

Thoughts on fit and both tires?

31s on 3.5" will not rub with that bs. 32s will be pushing it without trimming
