How would this work for a lift? I need new leafs in the rear so I am thinking of 1.5" heavy duty leafs then adding a shackle for the extra inch and a half for a 3" lift? Then spacers or new coils up front.

may ride a bit stiff but it will work. You'll need new shocks as well at a minimum.

loosen the jam nut and rotate the joint out (unscrew it). Make sure there is a LEAST 1" of thread still screwed into the solid section. Then tighten the jam not back up.
You need to unbolt the one side to do this.

Where can I find full leaf springs that are less than a 3.5" lift? I only want around a 2" lift in the back but I'd like new spring packs. All I can find for full packs is 3.5"

you can find OEM "HD" packs on sites like Quadratec - they'll give you about 1" over stock. Then add a 1" longer shackle for the remaining 1" lift.

I was hoping they'd be a bit cheaper since they weren't as much lift. If they are $100/each + cost of bushings I'll probably just go with a 3" lift with full packs for the rear.
Anyone know if I'd be able to build a bastard pack with YJ front leaf springs for the time being? Anything I'd need besides the leaf springs and new center bolts?

Dukie since you seem to be the wiseman in here this is directed towards you, Rocky-road.com is claiming to sell OME 4 and 5" lifts. Are these true OME lifts and have you heard anything about them?

I'm confused what you are asking. LCAs control the front pinion angle yes. Unlike the rear though you don't need to do measurements - just set the length by the following chart, tighten the jam nut, and install them.
