My 97 has 2" and I get vibes but my buddys 97 has 3" and no vibes so you will have to lift and see. But track bar is a must and you really should get lca's bc it will flex better

Take some pics of the track bar and the brackets (axle and body mount) and some pics of coil springs and shocks. Also take some of the front end in general. It would help to diagnose what's causing the lean a little better. Honestly you really should take it to a shop (a legit one and not the d bags you have been dealing with) and have them put a new track bar on it atleast! It could be terrible if the tb let's go while your tooling down the road.
The first 2 pics with the tape measure is of the pass side. the last 2 are the drivers side

IMO 4.5" is perfect for pretty much anything with the exception of deep mudding. Above that your jeeps center of gravity is off too much and can actually hinder performance instead of helping it. Also anything above 5" or so you start needing to replace UCAs, driveshafts, SYE, and brake lines at a minimum. Also the stock steering setup becomes almost useless.

I'm putting a 3 inch lift on my jeep and I was going to get a new track bar but I've heard that some people run stock track bar and it's not a problem. So how do I know if I absolutely have to get one? I don't do hardly any off roading or mudding
