Ya that's what I was gonna do. I'm goin from a 2inch to a 3inch lift and right now for the back I got 2" shackles. But yesterday I noticed that the leafs have a slight invert to them where the shackles bolt to the leafs. So I figured I'd just go back to stock shackles and and get the 3" lift leaf springs. Does that sound like the best plan?

Replacing the leafs is almost always the better idea. It should ride better and won't sag. Just don't get an aal. Get the full packs

Ok cool, I can't find just the 3" leaf pack anywhere. I couldn't find it on quadratec either

Most leaf packs are 3.5" bc they will settle after some driving. That will leave you right around 3". Another option would be to build a bastard pack out of s10 springs. If you use the s10 main and the one under it with the small one from your xj under that it will give you 3" or really close to it

I'd rather buy the 3.5" that's already built so I could just throw them on and be done. But that makes sense now

Hey guys doing a 3" lift soon and adding 31/10.5/15 on stock wheels. I wanted to know if I'm goin to rub with this setup? Will I need wheel spacers or trimming fenders?

You will rub on the LCA at full lock. A wheel spacer or rims with less backspacing will solve the problem. Maybe trim fenders depending in how much flex you get

Or instead of new wheels and cutting your fenders, you could adjust your steering stops and bumptops. Adjusting steering stops limits your turning radius. It means you can't make turns as tight, but it will stop your wheels from rubbing on the LCAs. Longer bumptops limit the uptravel of your tires, and are the proper way to compensate for larger tires. Cutting your fenders, if you want to, allows you to run relatively shorter bumpstops so you can maintain greater flex.

Nothing wrong with new wheels, and I encourage them if you can afford them/find a deal on Craigslist. You should still set bumptops, regardless.

Great advice guys. I think I'll be going with bump stops and maybe some wheel spacers for now. How much of a spacer I need?

Either a 1" or 1.5". You also might rub on rear sway bar, so I would say that spacers or new wheels is a must.

I did a 3" lift 6 months ago and didn't get a new track bar. When I either get an alignment done or do it myself, will the alignment not be 100% how it should, without the new track bar? Will it still be off?

Well you could get the tires aligned but the axle is still gonna be shifted to the drivers side a little so idk how the alignment shop is gonna feel about that.

Will that affect how the tires wear? That's mainly what I'm worried about
