So ive been searching for an answer on here but not having anyluck. I have recently acquired a set of new 31x10.50x15 wranglers for a hell of a steal, my question was I am runnin a 1.5" teraflex BB lift and planning on trimming my fenders and using tj flares. Do you guys think i will have any issues fitting these tires? I realize i wont have much room for flex but will be lifting it another 3" soon just wanted to know if they would fit in the mean time with trimmed fenders?

you should be fine with the trimming, just add a couple pucks to the bumpstop pads

Got a question. I have some stock leaf springs left over from my 2000 after lifting. They were flat but not inverted before removing. I just bought a 98' sport and the springs on it are gone, partially inverted.

Can I use the old springs off the 2000 to make a bastard pack and stiffen the leaf springs back up on the 98' or will flat springs + flat/inverted = still flat leaf springs?

You won't get much of anything except a stiffer ride. For the amount of work involved, I wouldn't personally do it. I suggest you find someone who's parting out an XJ with good springs, or that you watch craigslist and similar sites in your area.

I was planning on getting a 3" lift from rough country or zone and I was wondering what parts (i.e. track bar, transfer case drop, steering stablizer) you really need for your xj to be driveable. Thanks.

You will need a transfer case drop most likely, just depends whether or not you get driveline vibes, a new steering stabilizer would be good if you're planning on running bigger tires. Other than that, the zone kit comes with everything to keep it "driveable". I have the 3" zone kit with a new steering stabilizer and transfer case drop, and have been driving with it on this setup for about 7 months and it's doing good.

Awesome, did you by chance get the zone hydro or nitro shocks? If so how do you like them?

That's kind of what I figured. I guess I will bite the bullet and get a kit

I got the hydro ones. Not sure what I would compare them to but they are decent for a lifted jeep. I highly recommend zone, there is a vendor here who you can order through to get 10% off and he is great when it comes to customer service. Search: "zone offroad suspension" and talk to the vendor, I believe his name is Allen.

Great, I was on the fence between the two lifts but it seems the zone kit is a great buy for the money. Thanks for the help.

he will not need a TC drop with a 1990. Most likely will not need anything (mayyyybe a 2 degree shim) as far as his angles go. Yes you will need a trackbar. Dunno what the kit comes with but you should have new springs and shocks, and ideally new LCAs.

He shouldn't need a new trackbar to drive it should he? I've been driving on mine for 7 months without one.
