id imagine they perform the same in snow and mud, right? we dont see much snow here in az year round, but i make frequent trips up north during the summer when its covered in mud.

im split between the KO's and the Goodyear wrangler duratracs.

I just bought 32x11.50 hankook dynapro MT's. They get great snow reviews, but I haven't put them on the jeep yet. Lift goes on this weekend so then I'll be able to fit them.

Changed my mind. Now planning on getting RC 4.5" x-series instead of RE 3.5". The RC kits seems pretty complete to me. Just want to make sure there isnt anything else i should look into getting. Seems like it has everything i want/need. Any bad thoughts you guys have on this kit? Thanks

I've got a question. I got the Rusty's 3" lift kit with their hydro shocks. I'm going to be lifting it another 1.5". Was wondering will I need longer shocks? Also, I was planning on relocating the shock mounts on the rear axle to retain original shock travel, but would that even be necessary for just another 1.5"?

That's the exact tire and size that I have. They're good on dry and wet roads, awesome in mud and dirt. Decent in the snow, but I wouldn't call them great. Overall a fantastic tire!

I used to have 30" ko's and they were terrible in the mud. They clog up real fast and don't clear well. But definitely a good road/ dry dirt tire. I also used to have a set of wranglers but I don't think they were the duratracs. I found them to be a far superior mud tire due to a more open tread design.

I had a RE on my last XJ. My current XJ has the RC 4.5 x series on it. I wish I would've spent the extra $ on the RE. It rode alot better on the road. I haven't really had the RC a good run on trails yet though. I still need to trim for the 33s to tuck into the wheel wells. The RC kit is a full kit. The full leaves are a pain to bolt in. They were probably 2 inches shorter then the stock ones. You may need a SYE. Every XJ is different. My 88 didn't even need a tc drop and my 96 needed the tc drop.

Thanks for your input. I'll keep thinking about which one I want while I save up. If I save enough maybe I'll get the RE.

I really like the goodyear wranglers. Never had any issues with them, especially in snow. And theyre awesome road tires as well.

The hummer wheel is a 3 piece wheel. These pressed centers will work. It's not that hard to do...
