You can get really crazy and order some with 2" backspacing

Unfortunately I'm in Hawaii and in order to pass an inspection next year I have to have those bushwackers cover the whole tire. What's going to help with that?

4" backspacing should be ok and the bushwackers should cover them

Just had a quick question. I am going to be installing my lift this upcoming weekend and I was wondering if the transfer case drop is necessary if I am doing an SYE and new shaft?

My brother in law had 35" mud dawgs on his 95 sierra - they did awesome, but those trucks are quite a bit heavier than an xj - not sure if weight plays a factor in the performance of the tire... but they're good tires

That's what I'm running on my 99 and all I needed was a t case drop. No SYE, no CV shaft. I believe I've got an extra drop kit if you want to try that before you spend the $ on the other stuff.

Nah, it's ok. I don't mind having the SYE and shaft. That way I know I am good to go, especially if I ever go bigger.

I'd get an adjustable trac bar and adjustable control arms just to get things exactly where you want them. my opinion though.

So reciently I have been looking into longer and adjustable control arms for my jeep because Im lifting it. I looked on Rustys Offroad and saw two types of control arms. the first pair look like direct replacements for what I have stock holding the upper axle on. Heres links to the products Im referring to,

lower control arms http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchan...gory_Code=ARMS

upper control arms http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchan...gory_Code=ARMS

Then as I looked down the list of control arms I saw these lower control arms.

http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchan...gory_Code=ARMS

If I understand right the upper control arm attaches to the bracket located on this lower control arm. Can someone please explain what advantage using this control arm would give?

I have a 1990 jeep cherokee which I will be lifting from 3" lift to 4.5" of lift with, at the moment, 31" tires and a stock front axle. Any imput would be greatly appriciated.

Anyone on here can there own control arms for a 6.5 lift? I would either like the know all the correct sizes-lengths etc I would need to make some. I possibly would even buy them if someone could make them for me. Hoping someone local could chime in. Thanks in advance.
