As far as tire prices go mine were $632 out the door.
You can get 235 75 15 Goodyear wrongler radials at wall world for about a hundred bucks a pop.

Sorry that was meant for the guy that asked the question.

Default 4 inch lift with 285's?

So I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Limited.
I have a 3 inch pro comp lift with 1 inch coil spacers.
I want to get Treadwrights but I'm not sure what do get 265 or 285.
Will 285's fit?
I'm also running a 16 inch soft 8

Default check my lift!!!

hey guys im still pretty new here and dont post much. i did some reading and decided to piece together my own lift kit. my primary use is a daily driver and it may see some light to medium trails and mud. im currently running 30x9.5 dunlop mud rovers. tire clearance isnt an issue becuase theyre already on with my stock suspension now. heres what i have to start and will add some upgrades down the line. just would like a few of you to take a look and tell me what you think. thanks guys!

- OME 2” HD leaf springs
- IRO U-bolt kit
- Energy suspension bushings // rubber suspension bushings
- RC shackle relocation kit
- JKS boomerang shackle (maybe)
- OEM JK Rubicon Shocks
- IRO BPE
- IRO Front coil springs (3 or 4 inch pending shackle)
-YJ front brake lines
- Dakota rear brake lines

EDIT: I already have the OEM JK Rubicon shocks

I do plan on buying control arms I just haven't decided what company I would like to buy from. And I do have the convince of another vehicle to drive while my jeep is down. Can you please explain why I'm better off buying a kit and maybe suggest one yourself?

Buying a kit can be cheaper and easier. Personally I like to piece my stuff together, but its really personal preference. If you have the cash you should look into Clayton for your control arms. They are really nice. I have RC adjustables and they flex good but the joints are garbage.

I don't mind things taking a little bit longer. Based on what I wanted I came up with that list. I did look at a kit but I didn't see any thing that included all of those items for under a grand. I know Im gonna need arms, bumpstops, track bar and things along those lines. That's just my list to start. I wanted other opinions and suggestions. I don't think I'll buy a kit unless I get most of what I want for a good price. There's a lot of nice kts out there an every time I research it comes back that at least one component is junk. That's understandable for the price range I have been looking at. And that's why Ive been heavily leaning towards putting together my own kit. I'm definitely gonna give clayton a look. I've been looking at iron man Andy's arms too. Thanks for the input

Default anyone run into this problem?

my rear wheels are not center in the wheel well. i know the right rear end cap slides around cause i blew it off when i got stuck, but the left rear, all plastics are tight.

i am curious because im looking into lift kits and if the read wheels are sitting back too far then i know ill run into drive line vibes. i dont think an aal or another leaf pack will fix this. i was thinking possibly the rear springs are on backwards or something else? it doest dog walk

ive been looking at everyones lifted pics and they are centered and more forward in the fender wheels.

what and where do i measure to get the ride height and whats stock height? i remember something about center of rim to bottom of fender. im curious to see if it has a 1" lift already

Hey Guys, I just got a 2001 Cherokee Sport it's all stock just like from the dealer. it's only 2 wheel drive but I was thinking about lifting it up a little to make the stance look a little better. I did take it out on some trails and through the mud runs great never got stuck once. Any suggestions on what I could do to lift it for cheep. THANKS.

A budget boost with some 30x9.50s should be plenty for ya. Try Rubicon Express, they have a 2 inch BB complete with shocks. And Welcome to the forum!
