Honestly a nice set of wheels and tires will give it a good stance. You could do some 30's or 31's on some good wheels with a 4" bs and a 2" or 3" budget lift. Spacer in the front and a bastard pack in the rear.

I had that problem about three months ago. Turns out the PO did a junkyard lift and Afro engineered the whole thing. It had S-10 springs under it so the center pin was not lined up.

Long story short got new leafs and problem is fixed.

Your leafs should measure 23 1/2 center pin to front eye and 25 or 27 to the rear. Ill double check for you tomorrow though.

hey fellas, i got my 94 and i am wanting 2 do a 2" or 3" budget lift but im afraid my leaf springs r sagged and i was reading that if i use lift shackles that it can (or will) cause axle wrap and i dont want that to happen i like my jeep mobile i also have a 2 wheel drive XJ. so heres my question...

1. how sagged does ones leafs have to be to cause axle wrap?
2. can i use the rear leafs on my 93(the 4x2) to make a bastard pack for my 94?

Seriously guys, I don't know why people keep telling people to get 4 inch bs with 2 or 3 inch lifts. Stick with the stock wheels UNLESS you want to cut your fenders. If you get 4 inch bs without trimming then you're gonna rub and probably lose your flares on the first big bump you hit. You will rub with any after market wheel backspacing.

Well I guess this must be some sort of futuristic space man ride bc its a 3" with 31's on 4" bs soft 8's. No trimming, no sway bars, and absolutely no rubbing. But what the hell do I know? I only drive it

Do we get a discount through rough country for being a forum member? I know there is a vendor on here but he hasn't replied to my message and I'm wanting to get my new shocks and control arms soon

Default 33x10.5x15 on Stock XJ Rims?

Has any one run 33x10.5x15 on stock 15X7 rims and if so did you run wheel spacers? If you have pics post them. I am planning on going to 33" soon but right now I am running 31" BFG KM2s on Soft 8s with a 3.5/4" DPG Old Man Emu lift (LOVE THE LIFT!). I want to de-evolve and go back to the stock 5 spoke ally rims to get a little less fender rubbing at full flex.

Look up "project: cooter's xj 2001 Ltd." he ran 33's on stock rims for a while. Lots of pictures too.

There is a thread on here thats is only for pics of lifts and tire setups. Check it out. And you'll probably need spacers. I did anyways.

Just Google it. I searched "Jeep cherokee 33x10.50r15" just this morning and saw quite a few. I love that tire size! Just wish more companies made them and weren't killer on the bank!
