You SHOULD get an adj track bar. If not, your axle won't be centered, and you will never have a proper alignment. That said, I'm sure you know a lot of people don't buy a track bar at 3". It isn't needed for the Jeep to function, but it is needed for the Jeep to function properly.
Besides that, you may need extended brake lines. I didn't install them when I lifted mine, but I never got a chance to wheel it and test the flex.

I just wanna make sure you know it is an important part. I strongly suggest the Iron Rock Off Road double shear track bar (here). It's priced at the lower end of the spectrum, and it's ridiculously beefy. I rolled my XJ twice and didn't even scratch it. Now it's on dukie564's XJ with his new lift.

and AWESOME!
but yes you really need to get a trackbar to put on WITH the lift, not later down the road

Well then maybe i'll go all IRO and get the 3" kit with full leaf packs and track bar and not bother with sway bar disconnects. The kit seems to be more complete than the zone kit. A total of $760...

Nah, the standard is just fine. But for that $50 difference, the double sheer is more durable and I think it binds less when you get into tall lifts. I don't remember all the research I did on it, but I decided it was worth it in the long run. That's your choice, though, and either product is coming from a great company.

Do we get a little discount from them if we mention the forum? I hope

That depends on you. I don't care about ride quality, and I used shocks from a 2011 4dr JK Rubicon Wrangler. They were incredibly stiff, and I felt every crack in the road, but I could corner like a madman.

1991 cherokee limited
i just want to hear some opinions on what you guys would do
i want to go with 33' tires
would i be able to go with a 3.5 lift with some trimming?
is that worth it
i don't want to go any higher just due to the extra parts needed
i want a rig thats between a street and mud rider
whats a good lift kit?
something not too fancy but nothing thats gonna fall apart
recommend doing it myself or having a shop do it?
I'm looking to spend 800 for the lift
thats including labor
my brothers friend said he has done them before and he would help me but would have to charge and he has a shop with everything need
any input would be great
this is my first jeep and plan to keep it for a while so i want to do it right
